Ridley doesn't have a great track record with sequels... especially the many dead ones from his own hand.
Ridley doesn't have a great track record with movies in general. He's not bad per se, but inconsistent to the point where his name hardly excites when shown in trailers these days.

True. I wasn't going to go there but... one only has to watch half of his films to wonder who made the other half. :lol

But he made Alien, Blade Runner and The Martian... and that's all I need from him.

Ridley just delivers so much content it is hard to keep it all at great levels. Dude has quite the IMDB page. He does bring an epic scale to his movies, just not all of them hit home. Exodus, Kingdom of Heaven were solid. He is great at steering the ship and getting productions completed.

I'm not a big Damon fan. If I remember correctly, the movie was mostly Damon by himself eating his own ****. 🤭

I remember liking Moon with that crazy guy from Green Mile.

You didn't like it or you also have never met anyone who didn't like it.....

Oh, did I misread that..? maybe he did mean there's two that didn't like it.
Should have been clearer that I didn't care for it either. It didn't stick with me either. Was kind of the Tom Hanks Cast Away but in space. Ad Astra was more interesting but not as personal.
