I don't even know what complaints Apple has with flash as far as crashing--I've never had Windows crash due to Flash, maybe Apple just has a crappy OS?

I don't even know what complaints Apple has with flash as far as crashing--I've never had Windows crash due to Flash, maybe Apple just has a crappy OS?

Or it could be the MASSIVE security hole that exists within flash.

It's basically a large iPod touch with the option of 3G....and other than having the apple 'word' program work with it, nothing is new. You can already get books on your ipod touch and im sure ibooks will be coming to it.

If your gonna get this, just get a macbook.

^^^All good. I need to watch these movies again. Been forever since I watched any of them.... I remember watching the first one over and over and over again when I was a kid. My parents made the mistake of recording a VHS of it and letting me keep it.

Haha hell yea. I was the same way with the first one but then I finally discovered the second one when I was a kid and I watched that one over and over again of a recording on VHS. Man the good ole days of recording TV on VHS.

If your gonna get this, just get a macbook.

Depends what you are using it for. Macbooks are $999, iPads at their lowest model with 3G is $629. Macbooks will only run on WiFi without some sort of data card or plan and if you take that into account then you are at the $499 for comparable. Macbook has 7 hour battery charge, iPads will have 10 hour battery charges. Literally for playing games, responding to emails, downloading apps, listening to music and/or wathcing movies you really have no need for anything more than a iPad. If you it to actually iLife and or process for work then an iPad doesn't make any sense.

It really is for a different market. I want a Kindle, the iPad will work so much better for me but I'm not really looking for a replacement for my laptop or else I'd just lug my laptop around.
