Ordered this Evangelion print today

Been waiting for this to drop and It finally did! Even though its a giclee which apparently some people hate I think it looks incredible. It will look awesome when I get it framed with my Akira print by the same guy. I hope this guy gets more recognition soon. His work is amazing.

Can't wait to get it. It will look sick framed up. Not sure what color matte I will go with. I think a deep purple might look good, but Ill have to see when I get it. This is my favorite show of all time. Now he just needs to do Deathnote and he will have done my three favorite anime

You could also try to match the yellow/gold color too.

I already have a spot picked out for this I'm probably going to rewatch the series tonight and Tommorow just because I'm so pumped about it and did I see someone saying anything other than mondo posters are terrible earlier in the thread? This poster clearly shows their is talent out their besides the mondo artists

You could also try to match the yellow/gold color too.

I thought about this at first, but this show to me is very dark and depressing. That's why I was thinking of doing the dark purple for the matte and a dark frame to kind of match that depressing and dark feel of the show/movies

That's like the Saw III poster where Tobin Bell donated 2 vials of his blood to mix in with the paint.

why the hate for 18x24? I feel as though I am running out of room on all my walls. Its tough for me to get stuff larger than 18x24 now.

I have some 18x24 movie posters, but I do prefer the standard size of 24x36.

If it's a movie poster, I prefer 24x36. If it's something more cartoony like some of Whalen's Charlie Brown stuff, etc, I prefer 18x24.
