has anyone managed to complete all spec ops missions (except overwatch & big brother) solo... in veteran mode?

I have done a few on my own on Vet, but most alomost NEED 2 people. I need to complete snatch and grab and wetworks on Vet and I'll have all the 360 achievements.

I just need the last two on Echo and one in Charlie (snowmobile one) to have them all.

I use the tactical knife attachment for my USP pistol but purely because it looks bad ass, it's like Big Boss in MGS3! I never have it on with lightweight or commando or both simultaneously so really I think i'm using it fairly. Majority of the time I use it is when I have ran out of ammo in my main gun.

Not been on MW2 the past week or so because of all the new games I got for christmas but i'm gonna give it a go tonight, with my brand new headset

As frustrating as it may be for some players (myself included), it is still being used fairly because that is a legitimate combination of weapons and perks. No glitches or cheats are being used.

My question though is this: does the tactical knife appear whenever you melee or do you need the handgun equipped at the time (i.e. - meleeing when holding an assault rifle still results in the standard knife attack)?

i just completed snatch and grab under vet... it's pretty easy if you're patient and use cover a lot

I completed most of the spec-ops missions by myself on solo, but I still have yet to complete these four: Overwatch, Breach and Clear, Hidden, and Homeland Security.

I especially need help with Homeland Security, and Overwatch. My PSN is blade7117. Feel free to add me if you have a PS3. If I can be of any assistance to anyone in completing some of the spec-ops missions, let me know.

The damn juggys keep showing up and killing me. I have had the seemingly come out of nowhere and kill me. I hear the music start for one and then they just seem to be on top of me. I have even had 2 come at once from different directions.

Snatch and Grab is the easiest level to complete, and you can finish it in just over a minute . Just keep running in a zig-zag motion, and the enemy AI will have a lot of trouble shooting you. Here's a YouTube vid that explains it:

Answered your own question there mate! You need the pistol equipped to take advantage of the tactical knife attachment, for everything else its the regular knife attack.
