Once you play the campiagn once replay isn't appealing, online is still decent though!

Had no problems downloading the Map Pack ... took all of 4-5min to purchase, DL, install, play ...

That's correct. The online MP is really fun and addicting, but it does start to get old really quick. I'm already ready for a new map pack. $15 for only 3 new maps is expensive. I wouldn't mind if they charged $10 for the rest of the maps from Modern Warfare 1 just to get more variety.

Also I don't think I have ever heard anyone ever speak with the same accent that you hear English actors use in American TV programs. It always pulls me out of the story when I hear that really strong British stiff upper lip accent because I have never heard it in my 37 years in real life.

I see the new maps are now in the other game rotations.
Really enjoying playing them now. I never played MW1 so the whole pack is new to me and the only map Im not diggin is Salvage. All of the others are quite fun IMO>

No longer regretting the purchase..

apparently they always have been, i found out a couple of nights ago though.

I hate Overgrown, seriously if no one votes to skip it i'll leave
the map is just awful, Salvage isnt so good either

Bailout and Crash are great maps although I feel theres too much going on in them

Storm is great also, other than the raining effect

funny you mention that cause ive been looking to get my ass whooped on the MW1 maps. Almost pulled out of Overgrown last night but decided to take a shot at it and ended up winning the round with a 7 kill lead. So THAT time at least .. I enjoyed it

As far as Modern Warfare map pack news goes, this might seem like a bit of a damp squib as there's no real detail or pricing as yet, but the 'Resurgence Pack' as it's been dubbed, is out a lot sooner than previously thought.

Dropping onto the Xbox Live Marketplace on June 3rd, the release of the five multiplayer map 'Resurgence Pack' will also be celebrated with two successive double XP weekends on May 28th and June 4th.

And, well that's your lot for now. There's no word on pricing yet, although 1200 points would seem logical considering how well the 'Stimulus Package' did.

Take a look at that title too - 'Resurgence Pack' suggests that we'll be seeing more rehashed maps from p

My friends begged me to come back and play and I have been for like a few nights after a long like 6 month break, and it's every bit as frustrating as I remember. Not really fun, as soon as you put this game in if you played MW1, your expectations are instantly shattered. Out of the 5 people I work with who lived on MW forever, all of us agree that it just didn't meet are standards.

Honestly after this disappointment I'm far more excited about Black Ops. And with the best minds at IW disbanded, no doubt MW3 will even be more of a hollow shell of a clone than this one was.
