EXP counter never stopped, just because you chose not to prestige doesn't mean you still aren't earning EX. Which is why you can see people in the first level who never did prestige at the top of the list with level 10s.

I just went into first prestige last night. I called in 3 nukes last night and got my killstreak up to 36. It was awesome.

I still don't understand why people hate camping and equate it to cheating? What exactly is wrong with camping... please tell us all.

It's cheap. When your in a game and both teams are camping just hanging around the same area, first off you hardly get any points. Second it's too slow and the match ends before the score limit can be reached because no one is killing anyway and is just waiting around for someone to do something stupid.

Your not meant to be dropped in game so you can crouch in a corner with shotty aimed at a door way and wait for someone that's on a roll actually running, dodging, firing, killing, etc. I can be on a 9 kill streak with 3 knifes in a row and I watch through the wrong door and some noob ass ????? that is like level 19 is too afraid to run around the map, pumps me full of shotgun shells or 1887 akimbos me from like 40 feet away.

My point is anyone can sit in a corner and just wait, just camp it out. Now it takes real skill to actually play the game correctly to run and gun and move around the map stalking your enemies, and avoiding fire. I'm constantly moving around the map, only time I hold still or hide to find cover is when I'm reloading or calling in a killstreak perk. And then when I'm calling in my AC130 some lucky noob stumbles upon me and kills me. Cheap.

Alright guys I did it.... I sold out and Prestiged. I know I've said I wasn't gonna do it, but then I decided to go for it.

Im at 67 at the moment I think and Im not sure if I can prestige when I finish 70 coz it feels like it has taken me forever to just get here!! it's just the thought of having to start with a crappy gun and try and unlock all those weapons and perks etc ALL OVER AGAIN!!!

Or am I the only one who feels like this?

No, I feel different mate. I like the challenge of getting all those perks again. It keeps the game fresh for me. That plus the fact I love getting new badges! And levelling up the 2nd time round goes a lot faster for some reason.

I missed out on getting to level 10 on COD4 so i'm not gonna do again!

I don't recall being this bad at COD4. I really need to rethink how I approach this game.

Well it also depends on how often you play. Alot of people play all the time and are all ready on there 3 or 4th prestige. Ive been playing almost every day for at least an hour and Im only a 62. I think im pretty good, not great but good.

Also start using different weapons for easy challenges and easy points.
Also depending on your class set up, your weapon can change your game also...(run 'n gun, or camper). Sometimes I'll come out in first place and sometimes...dead last. Example...last night first game I played, I was 18 and 1. I got a predator missile, got me my harriers, then my pavelow and I went 18-1. Very next game, it was like I never played in my life I was 2 and 13, go figure. Just have fun.

Lol.... I'm like that too. I'll have a string of really good matches, then take a quick break and come back to really sucking bad. I'm not doing so good now that I've done Prestige because I'm trying to use different weapons and loadouts than before.

Im kinda like that s well. I can have a few good matches, and then I start sucking. End up having to stop playing for awhile before I start again, usually then I end up better....of course it all starts up again after a row of matches.

Also depends if I get stuck playing on maps I hate, or am placed into a team that is already loosing by a good amount.

I'm like you guys. Some really great nights and some really ????ty nights. Sometimes, taking a break for dinner or something is the dividing mark for me. On average, I'm typically 10-16 kills/match but with around 10-16 deaths as well. I think my ratio is a 0.94 right now (was as high as 0.96 at one point until three bad nights in a row).

I think I expect too much from it. I regularly finish top of games with out even trying. my K/D is 1.27 I think.

It would be a lot higher but I get killed a lot. I just make sure I have more kills than deaths to win I play like a COD rambo, seriously! Never still, always getting killed, but always killing.

Sometimes you just go through the motions. I think that's a good time to turn it off and play it some other time when you are actually up for it.

I just had some pretty good matches. I think I found a set of weapons/attachments and perks that work.

I use the TAR assault rifle with silencer and heartbeat, Bling, Cold Blooded and Ninja. I greatly improved my kills and died far less than usual. Kill/Death ratio greatly got better.

I play like a COD rambo, seriously! Never still, always getting killed, but always killing.

After reading this, I gave it a go again. I ended up doing more terrible than usual. Then I changed from assault rifle to sub machine gun and begun the ass beatings! I finished with a positive K/D ratio for the first time! Not only that, I did it for 3 matches in a row!

I guess I'm just not an assault rifle guy...

I think everyone has bad matches, whether your put on a team that is already losing with like 2 minutes left in the match (which is BS BTW) or your just having an off game, or maybe your teammates just suck.


Usually I finish a game with my kills in double digits and my deaths in single. My k/d ratio is 1.42 right now. Accuracy is at about 19% and some change. I need to get my numbers up to COD4 status, which my K/d ratio was about 1.8 and my accuracy was about 22.


Called in another Nuke tonight, got over 22,000 experience in one game. 46 kill streak.

The online experience in Modern Warfare 2 has been tainted somewhat for the past few weeks with the infamous "Javelin glitch" - a glitch that saw suicide bombers rewarded with a plethora of undeserved kills.

The patch fixes the Javelin glitch, the Care Package glitch, and "addresses areas where players could get into geography" according to numerous "tweets."

That's it then... go enjoy your Modern Warfare 2 filled weekend... you know, without the constant fear of killing a land mine.

Finally completed Spec Ops yesterday, 50/50 Achievements for 1000 G, my second complete game!!
