That sucks, hope your replacement will be a-ok. Speaking of that Special Edition with the statue GAME (UK retailer) had it at £69.99 last week, it's upto £99.99 this week. WTF???

ouch. I grabbed it when it was £70. So now if I sell the hardened game that came with it for roughly £50 the statue will have only cost me £20!

Yeah, Veteran wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I might actually go back and try CoD4 on Veteran someday.

I found COD4 to be more difficult than MW2 on Veteran. I think it has to do with the respawning enemies in 4 that isn't there in MW2.

If you're fed up of listening to other players talk smack, or just want to talk privately with friends, there's a simple feature hidden deep within the Xbox Live menus that allows you to do so. To find it, just follow these four steps:

1) Boot up your Xbox 360 and sign into your profile.

2) While on the NXE, hit the Xbox button on your Xbox 360 controller and scroll right to the Settings tab.

3) Select Profile, then Edit Profile and then select Privacy Settings.

4) Select the Voice and Text menu and choose Friends Only.

Voila! You'll now only be able to hear people on your friends list during any Modern Warfare 2 game type, and only your friends will be able to hear you.

i find it easier just to toggle mute them. cause when im playing Hardcore SnD i need to talk to the other players.

Plus sometimes we are in groups where not everyone in on everyones friends list but part of the group.

Yeah I think you have to finish level 70, basically like get the points to get to level 71 even though there isn't one. Then you can prestige.

I miss the 1887s. but the spas is a fun alternative as well.

That's correct. "Level 71" is actually Prestige 1, Level 1. If you choose not to Prestige, then the XP counter stops recording any XP you earn. That's how it worked on CoD4. I'm assuming it's the same here.

EXP counter doesnt stop. i prestige late in cod4 and my EXP counter kept going. same as in this game. you just dont see it in the matches. but check your stats and its there.

Really?? My CoD4 XP counter stopped when I hit the option to go into Prestige for the first time, and I played it a lot at Level 70. None of my XP was recorded though.
