Far from true, my friend! Just this morning got pics of the wax cast -- which is one step away from being the finished piece. Will post pics in the Juliet thread shortly.

Great news indeed, but you know why I´m being so skeptical. It´s not the first time I read something like "this will be finished soon" and then nothing happens. First time I read something like that from your sculptor was what? about 3 years ago? And we´re still waiting.

I really hope it´s not the same with your headsculpt, of course, because I can´t wait to get Juliet. So I´ll keep my fingers crossed for you and her

Hey Alison Amy -- where did you get the wig? I'm thinking of maybe doing a BSG Laura Roslin figure and I don't think sculpted hair would look good on her...

For most 1/6 figures, I would say a size 4 wig is the best.

I walked through the Barbie aisle at Wal-Mart last night and eyed up an $8 Ken doll JUST for the arms. I'm concerned about the scale though. I'd have to hack off the hands of course and somehow attach a Hot Toys peg/hands. I know it won't look as pretty as the $80 Hot Toys bodies, but it may tide me over for a bit longer...

For 8$ it's worth the risk.

So I pulled the trigger on the Ken doll. I upgraded to the 'Fashinista Ken' since the arms are pretty much less detailed (and quality) Hot Toys muscle arms. But since they're all I'm after I plan on transplanting them...

(looking at google images it would appear that there's a version with articulated wrists, which the one I bought does not have... I might have to be on the look out depending on how my mod works out...)

Harley Ken does have articulated wrists. That one costs a lot more. I'm not sure if any of the brand new Kens have them. I'll keep my eyes open.

Thanks Allison! These ones are $14CDN or so. Not a bad alternative if it all goes to plan.

Apparently the 'Cutie' Ken has the articulated wrists. But they're also totally different arms. (I bought 'Sporty' since I didn't notice a difference in store and they did have them...).

Hopefully my wrist mod works out (and there's not too big a difference in the colour of the hands...)

Yeah I agree it needs to be a little darker! But also the photos are very washed out! Cheers buddy every little helps

Very nice job Greggo, just one minor detail: I think Josh Holloway´s eyes are green, they look blue on the pics.

Actually, as surprising as it may seem, I had to google "Josh Holloway eye color" to find it. I just have a few LOST related pages bookmarked and some pics saved, nothing related to the actors but the characters (I´m the kind of fan who prefers not to know about the actors themselves, just in case I don´t like what I find ).
