Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

I have avoided watching films such as LOTR with Viggo in them as of a few days ago after watching Eastern Promises which included Viggo having his Naked Bath House Brawl :lol

The fact that they canceled the plans of bridgeing the Hobbit and the LOTR in the second film.

Well, who knows what they may end up doing in the long run. I think right now they're concentrating on getting The Hobbit made. Maybe they'll be a third movie!

Ya, that is what I was thinking. When the Hobbit gets out and playing it will show that the Middle Earth Franchise has legs and we may see new projects being developed.

I don't know how this got by me.

A little disapointed but I'm still just as excited!

damn that sucks :mad: i was looking forward to some necromancer action.

i hope they still do it, they'd have enough time if the first movie ends with the killing of smaug as is rumoured, so why the hell not

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

I am honestly glad about this. It makes the whole venture seem less like a cash grab.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

The funny thing is that neither TORn nor AICN has picked this up....they're usually pretty much on reporting this kind of stuff. Not necessarily doubting the source, but I find it puzzling.

Still think that there will be some stuff on the White Council and the Battle of the Five Armies. Which would mean Saruman, Galadriel, Elrond, Aragorn. Also, the search and capture/imprisonment of Gollum hopefully will be included somewhere (Galadriel/Lothlorien and Aragorn).

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

I was thinking the same thing. The article is an older one and still nothing on TORN's home page.
