Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

That's what I was thinking, Josh. If he does get a cameo, it will be fun to try and spot him! :lol

Yeah, it would be. I might save that for a second or third viewing though I'm tossing myself fully into the first one. I do hope that its something something minor because its one of those I'm kind of "ehh" about.

I hear ya! By the time the Hobbit hits the theaters I'll have forgotten about Colbert anyway! :lol

$6.00 at Carmike and $5.00 at Cinemark.

Actually, due to getting free tickets, I haven't paid for a movie most of the year.

Yup, I got a ****load of tickets from family members last christmas, that on top of the Carmike Rewards, I usually get in for free.

But still, your price is much better than mine. :lol

Our Carmike is $5 all day-night on Mon-Thu. Love the matinee showing, less people there.

:goodpost: Always go to matinee's.

Just last week I saw Taken 2, Argo and Looper. It was a private screening, only me in the theater. :lol

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

Well I guess we know where the first movie ends now.
Being saved from the wargs by the eagles.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

That was given away in the updated scroll they did a while back.

If you order your ticket through fandago then you get a free song from the album.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

The article on fandago doesn't say. Just that you will get one.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

I am 90 min away from Austin Tx; if any place is gonna have this in 48 fps, it'll be the Alamo chain there, I'm sure

Gonna drive there and see it back to back!!!!

Any chance of a LOTR marathon as a special event leading up to the Hobbit? I'd do it!!!

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

Not that I've heard and I'm sure it would have been announced by now.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

Nice! Those are non 3d versions of the comic-con posters.

That's happened to me twice and loved it. No whiny little brats to contend with. :lol

Although, I did see ROTS at a private midnight showing with hardcore Star Wars fans and that was lots of fun too.
