Rory thinks your're a POS.

Fight him.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" movie thread *SPOILERS*

Not to me. ROTK is the only LOTR film I enjoy. It's like a hour of stuff, and 2 hours of action. It's great.

But I doubt you would've liked it if you hadn't seen the other ones first.

Made a blind purchase and watched this for the first time. Never seen any of the lord of the rings films. Loved this movie alot. I enjoy the others but I think two towers is over rated. Half way through ROTK and loving it so far. Am I mad?

I loved TT. All the Helm's Deep stuff is great.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" movie thread *SPOILERS*

I don't see how people could dislike Fellowship of the Ring. It's the best paced out of all of them and you're not following 3-4 different stories. Everyone's together and it's pretty straight forward. It has a nice climax towards the end too.

Two Towers? I can see how that could irritate people, especially those damn Ents. Helms Deep and Gollum make it all worth it though.

Yupp.

Honestly, ROTK is my least favorite, FOTR and TT are neck and neck.

Once a year wife and I enjoy all 3 EE in a weekend sitting.

Then it's back to Superhero stuff for the other 51 weekends. :lol

Yeah, I'm not too sure what he means by that... :lol

TT is my favorite out of the films.
I meant quite the opposite, i know you are a cool guy and therefore will not be insulted by your insult.
That Fab though, he is a POS.
:lol

I certainly do not expect anyone to agree with me. But loved all 4 of the Hobbit/LOTR movies. And the complexity of the stories is one of the reasons. I don't see the multi-layering of the stories to be goobdly glock (were you trying to say gobbledygook?).

CelticPredator - aren't you some kind of a film student or something?

I don't mean to be offensive, but based on the opinions you have expressed on these forums...I hope you are planning a back-up career.

I think several will agree with you. That's one of the many reasons I love the films. These films do such a wonderful job of capturing the books and as a fan of the material that really makes me happy. How Middle-earth is constructed both in book and movie just isn't for everyone. Some need simple stories that lay it all out right for you.
