Here's an early concept design for the '87 film. James Cameron actually came up with the idea of the "outer mouth" for the Pred, if I'm correct.

It was from AvPGalaxy. I tend to save any Predator picture that I find on the internet.

I just save every A/P related image to my pictures.. Had to put them all on a flash drive though because there were too many.

Don't they mention it in a doc about Stan sitting next to James on a plane and sketching out the Pred?

Don't know, getting older and the brain dumps some memory to save room for important stuff, like remembering to breath and what not

Probably, but I wouldn't be surprised if James knocked out some concept sketches himself. I know that was his hand doing the sketches in those scenes from Titanic, so the guy has some talent, and is actually a big horror buff. Watching something on The Evil Dead and saw where he was interviewed, and he'd tell his friends about that movie and drag them out with him to see it at the theaters. He's kinda a contributing factor in Sam Raimi making it in Hollywood as a director.
