Word is that Fox is trying to construct a connected universe of their sleeping characters. Sleeping Wolverine vs. Sleeping Predator.

:lol :lol :lol

I'd actually watch the hell out of that movie. With them being awake of course.

Is it possible for Fox to actually do something like that with the X-Men characters or is the some sort of stipulation in their contract with Marvel preventing something like this from happening?

Give me a Wolverine vs a Predator in the jungle maybe during Logan's Weapon X days and that movie could be the best Wolverine and second best Predator movie ever.

I'm sure they could do it but merchandising might get messy if Marvel then tried to claim that Predators were suddenly X-Men characters and subject to veto from that point on. Assuming Marvel really has had the option to veto FoX-Men figures. I don't remember if that was ever officially confirmed.

While this report is coming from a trusted source. The plot of the film is subject to change as scripts are constantly being rewritten. Characters and storylines can be added or cut in the final edit of the movie.

This was just too hot to pass up. I received an email from a source who wanted to reveal some info about Shane Black’s THE PREDATOR.

Here is the scoop that was sent in by SplashReport reader Colonel George Dillon.

“Boyd Holbrook is Lieutenant Quinn McKenna (characters name might change), an elite soldier suffering from serious PTSD now working covert ops around the world. His team is trying to assassinate a drug lord in Cuba when the story begins.

Jacob Tremblay is Rory McKenna. The estranged 12-year-old son of Quinn Mckenna who lives with his mother. He’s an autistic genius who gets bullied at school.

Olivia Munn is Casey Brackett. She’s a science professor at Berkeley who’s an expert in Evolutionary biology. Basically the Amy Adams character from Arrival in the Predator universe.

Sterling K. Brown is CIA Agent Traeger. He works for an off-the-book organization who’s known the Predator’s existence for a while. He captures Lt. McKenna and recruits to help investigate the situation.

The story takes places 30 years after the events of the first and second movies. A predator spacecraft crashes in Cuba during covert ops run by Lt. McKenna. Before being captured by the CIA and Traeger, he sends part of the downed Predator armor by mail to his son Rory. After the supposedly “comatose” Predator is revived, a race for the missing tech brings all the characters together face-to-face with something much more nefarious… THE PREDATOR 2.0 A ten feet tall genetically enhanced and more advanced Predator who will crash the McKenna family reunion in suburbia.

What else does Shane Black have in store for us? Predator dogs, a ragtag team of Army lunatics, and more weird space hybrids.”
Very interesting information! Shane Black is trying to remix the Predator universe a la Prometheus or Jason Bourne. Will it work? We’ll know in one year!

I always wanted a Rambo vs Predator movie :lol How is that guy working covert ops if he has serious PTSD?

Anyway, those spoilers went from bad to horrible and by the time it got to the giant genetically enhanced Jurassic World Predator.

It sounds like a Mel Brooks parody.

I'd rather watch a comedy Predator film about a coming-of-age, mid-twenties Predator, from a long family history of great warriors, banned from his world - because of his timid nature - and subjected to live the rest of his life in the Big Apple where he struggles to find his place among humans. Because of his struggles, he contemplates suicide where he is saved by a young beautiful woman (played by Sophie Turner) who sees past his visual handicap and crude behavior. He is welcomed within her circle of friends and family and soon is beloved by the a large portion of New Yorkers and as a result, Predator's Lives Matter is soon erected. He gains self-confidence and embarks on a voyage of self-discovery where he works his way up and eventually becomes a high-level CIA officer - stemming from his knowledge of warfare tactics - and uncovers two top secret files named "Dutch" and "Mike H" where we discover '87 and '92 Predators were his older brothers. He is highly distraught and begins placing pieces together as to why he was casted away to Earth - It's a test! He must choose between the only species to embrace him or channel this new-found aggression to obliterate the human species and earn his place among his family as the great warrior that avenged his brother's killers . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
