I Personally DO appreciate that they did show their world. I loved seeing how it looked and I loved how Scar Predator had a task to clean up the mess.
I know AVPR is crap but those little predator moments were very cool for me.

Crows put up the best argument that could ever possibly be made for AvP and AvPR, you must be a lawyer.

Regarding Aliens, that movie is so well layered that both crows and Gaspar are right at the same time.

and im only going by fan reaction and how popular the toys are.

both avp and wolf predators have always sold extremely well and the demand for them is always there. also most reviews of those movies trash the movies but praise the pred stuff.

it isnt even my argument itself but just noticing how well liked those pred scenes are.

Well lets see if this movie can use the kid as effectively as JP, T2 and Aliens did (any others).

I like the language translation angle, would've been cool if the aliens in Arrival were Predators lol.
