I'm tired of humans vs Predators.

Give me a Predator vs other alien species. Give me a gladiator film, a la Planet Hulk, but with a Predator and some big alien dude as the protagonist.

I've been reading the exchange between Crows and GasparZizou that got me thinking about my own take on a Predator movie, the funny thing is, it's very much like that one you posted that I've never heard of before.
What I've come up with:
A human hunter, a seriously dangerous man with years of experience who specializes in hunting the most dangerous game- man, has heard about the mythic Predator hunters and has become obsessed with killing something far more challenging. He sets out to find one going from clue to clue all across the globe as he closes on his prey. He eventually finds what he's obsessed with over so many years, but he'll soon regret going after the ultimate hunter.

I like the idea of a guy who eats these damn things to stay immortal so the guy could survive in the end so that's what the sequels could be about.

Oh very interesting, what a badass character that would be, any ideas on who would you cast? Sharlto Copley comes to mind, if he wasnt a manlet so maybe Mel Gibson or Hugh Jackman?

I was thinking about the dynamics of the Pred vs Pred movie I thought about, both being pretadors would be expert hunters so the bad blood would react diferently to another preds tactics, he would be prepared for them, I envisioned their maybe final fight as them quickly running out of gizmos and gadgets almost to a stand still. Kind of imagine the same thing with your character except he would be in a physical disadvantage.

Studio wont greenlit a movie where there is not a human main character.
One of rhe first ideas for avpr was to have half the movie with the predators only as main characters and no dialogue but a lot of action (against aliens)and the studio freaked out.
No humans, no movie...

Didnt see tha movie but yeah, I was thinking that the bad blood would intentionally go into a conflict zone for hiding, humans would occasionally be on the way due to their own local conflict. "Good" pred would not arrive right away, it would be the humans and their conflict dealing with strange occurances, kinda developing like P1, but bad blood would be revealed soon, maybe a quarter into the movie, and as the human characters are starting to come to terms with it. Another predator arrives so they better gtfo of the way.

Im sure there must be something like that in comics, im currently open to give predator (and aliens) comics a second chance, so Im doing research to see if theres anuthing good

It would be cool to see two equals hunt each other where both are equally dangerous and equally skilled. Could be like that movie killing season or the hunted.

Arnold tried to go after the pred but he wasnt goid enough and won by accident. I would like to see a movie where both characters are truly dangerous to each other. Thats cool

I think in the end, this guy is no match for the Predator, and if he wins it's a pyrrhic victory. But he's a very similar type of character.
Dutch I feel was out for a bit of revenge and ultimately for survival. The guy I was conjuring up is after the Predator purely for sport.

Never had an actor in mind. Right at the moment I keep picturing Jon Bernthal but only because I watched The Accountant last night (Good movie BTW).
Pred Vs Pred would be interesting, it'll be like a foreign film reading nothing but subtitles for two hours. Having humans in play would be a necessity imo. Maybe have a human intelligence officer in a war zone who notices these things going at one another and acts as the pov for the audience. Though the human would need a plot of his own, but wanting to capture one of the Predators is too much like Predator 2, maybe his superiors don't believe him and he's out for some proof that he isn't nuts.

One thing i always wanted to see is what this movie is kinda doing.

I have always wanted to see a predator that lost all his gadgets and even loses the arm blades and the helmet ( basically naked pred) having to either hunt using his wit
Or a trapped pred that has to escape a facility or a compound.

Ive always wanted to see how a pred does when he cant kill himself and he has to escape.
Or when his pride leaves his mind and he has to turn into pure survival . I

Thats a movie i would want to see, humans remove everything from a pred and chain him up but then he escapes the chains and has to count on only his instincts and cleverness both escape and kill his captors. Maybe he can find different ways to camouflage or even create some traps.
Basically predator rambo . I would like a naked predator rambo.

I dont like that this movie is going to make him technologically enhanced or whatever.

I kept picturing the Narrator from War of the Worlds while I was typing, but the Godzilla movie is a better way of visualizing it.
You know, the more I think about it, the better I like Mel Gibson for my Pred movie idea, he'd be perfect as a crazy seasoned killing machine sob.

Hopefully it only means the pred is stronger and faster like an athlete on steroids.

I've been trying to avoid spoilers but I've noticed the 20 foot super Pred stuff pop up and have been groaning about that too, maybe that's what they're envisioning to be a Pred female. I really hope it's untrue.

Specifically I dont want 10 ft tall Pred and no suburbia.

Pred on steroids not ideal but I can handle.

The predators are used to the jungle so one time they are drawn to the highest combat area which happens to be in the desert.
The pred has to adapt to the new environment and learn how to not leave foot prints or how to hide in open spaces. Has to learn to move more carefully and use shadows to hide.
The pred also has a problem identifying who to hunt because he goes to an area where everyone that lives there is armed and combat never stops. Combat 24/7. He tries to hunt but the soldiers wont stop fighting. Day or night. Constant war. there are even drone strikes.
The place is so chaotic that the pred cant attack without avoid everyone seeing him.

Would be cool to see how a pred hunts in a place where people are never alone and combat never stops and all the civilians are armed and he loses the element of surprise.
