They showed a big spoiler scene at SDCC that gives away the direction the movie will take, whether or not it was mentioned in the early leaks I dunno...

Fugitive Predator gets killed early on and easily by the Super Predator, face smashed in, decapitated and everything. So the poor fella is fodder to make the big guy look more of a threat.
