really???

I'm going to take the high road and not even respond....

As for me, I have decided that waiting on the Dr's to give an official diagnosis, correction, and recovery is taking way too long. I have been out of the gym since the 4th and can feel it affecting me.

So today I am going back to the gym to do cardio on the treadmill (10 degree incline) and the eliptical for 45 min each. I may not be able to do strength/impact training but at least I can keep my cardio maintained.

That's good Lance, take it a day at a time and nice and slow, I'll be doing the two times a day cardio session as I'm trying to hit Missouri Naturals once again this year.

The past couple years I feel as if I haven't been able to give it my all with with the wedding one year and the year after that we had family vacations getting in the way, although I'm getting close to my 200lbs all muscle mark, maybe I'll reach it by the time I'm 40 :lol

Although the lbs. have been packing (221lbs this morning after the winter break :yess:, 2007 I made it 230lbs but I wasn't as clean on foods in doing so) I should be the heaviest in my class for height and age this coming year, a spot 1-2 place this year is MO Naturals will more than surely sucure a Natural Pro card this year also depending if I beat out some nice contenders.

I dropped all my sponsors as it was taking way too much time with my full time job, my wife, this hobby, etc.... but I'm looking to pick up some more reputable companies along the way this year/summer.

I'm trying to work my abs so I do alot of sit ups and crunches. I used to be in boxing as a teenager and I remember the instructor showing us figure four crunches and also doing sit ups holding a medicine ball and wen you go up raise it in the air and when you go down lightly hit yourself in the stomach with it.
All that works pretty good but lately I've been using an ab wheel/ I position myself the right way but it still only feels like I'm just putting my back into it and not working the abdominal muscles.

How you u keep your feet from going numb on the Elliptical? I 've seen people take off they're kicks....is this the solution?

I can only for about 20 mins til they get numb. :/

I usually do about an hour on the treadmill, alternating speeds and incline. I can only get up to 4.0 speed for about 2 mins tho. :lol
But little by little i'm increasing the time on that speed! :rock

Then I go where teh beefcakes are and pump some iron! They look at me funny cuz I'm a n00b...but **** it! :lol

Only one way to get the abs and that is from the kitchen... Your diet determines whether or not your abs will break through.

Eating anything white pretty much will prevent the abs from coming through. By white I mean, bleached flour, milk, sugar, etc... Fruits, veggies, fish, water are the way to go...

Abs come from the kitchen not the gym...

I shift my weight around to prevent the numbness from occurring every 5 min I move from heal to toe and back again.

Get dem prioiteeze straight Yo!!! And keep at it bro!

Make sure the little lady gets good pics of the comp so you can post em here.

I remember when I was heavy into lifting my off season weight was 250lbs. and in comp it was 220lbs.

Now that I don't lift for mass, I am in the 190's and still plan to drop down to 180 to strip off as much fat as possible. Then I will use strength training to build up to the 190's again.

Theres no way I can stop drinking milk. I mix my isopure into it. But I need to cut back on the sugar and fried food. I eat too much chicken tenders and drink too much soda. I'm about to go on a strictly water, milk and 100% juice for my fluids and more fruits and veggies. Also I cook alot of chicken and rice, don't know if rice is bad or not?

BLEH....No breaded/fried chicken...only grilled or baked...and absolutely NO soda.
Make sure the fruit juices don't have alot of sugar in them....Sugar= Fat Ass.

White Rice has alot of carbs and thats not good unless you intend to burn it with cardio. Best is brown rice in moderation. Brown Rice taste l like crap tho...so fawk that. If u HAVE to eat rice....eat only one cup.

Thats my advice.

You want abs....

NO SODA, MILK (Use water with your isopure and get used to the taste), NOTHING FRIED EVER!!!!...

For juice, squeeze it yourself or get a juicer...

For rice, substitute with quinoa

Do these things and you will see huge changes in about two weeks.

If you can't drink milk how do you give your body the calcium it needs?

Supplements.

Supplements.
Yea I should cut back on dairy and replace it with supplements. Ugh...and to think I just ate 2 klondike bars... Gotta get serious about this again. I went from 180 to 150 but now I'm back to 165...Needless to say I'll be going on my hour long run tonight and drinking nothing but water for the next 2 days,no food. Anyone else ever do that?

One thing about bodybuilding and appearance of the body that a lot of people misunderstand is that.... it's not exactly like eating healthy.

If you eat to look ripped up not exactly 4% bodyfat but at least below 10%, you are not exactly eating: milk, low fat cheese, cheerios, yogurt, constant shakes, slim fast, protein bars, rice cakes, etc....

It's a whole nother level below that to the bare minimums and consistency.

Is it gonna taste good, hell no, especially at first. Brown rice is amazing tasting, so is whole wheat bread or any carb for that matter. I can tell by someone's taste buds how bare minimum they have been dieting and what essentials they have been living on what they think tastes good and what diet they are used to with sparing the carbs, none to little sugar (EVEN FROM FRUITS). That is a whole nothing level further down to tapering and striations but that's neither here nor there and NOT everyone's goals.

Just depends what your goals are and how you want to look.
