Has anyone tried the Optimum Nutrition Essential AMIN.O. Energy?? I got a free sample that I'm about to throw down before Crossfit, and I was wondering if I could get some personal input on this supplement.

I haven't used the Amino but I use their protein powder and am satisfied with the quality and surprisingly the taste. I don't see how you could go wrong with anything they make but maybe Skiman has alittle more insight.

Not bad on the aminos, but aminos can be bought cheap and they all work the same, there hasn't been much science break throughs on different combinations of how aminos are made so even the cheap stuff helps in recovery and building muscle because arginine, taurine, glutamine are all chemically broke down the same.

It's more about keeping a constant flow of them throughout the body to rebuild the damage and come back stronger.

So glad I was in boxing when I was young. They pound how to do a good ab workout in your head so I pretty much do the same routine now that I did then.

I've been doing MMA now for a couple years now and am at the same weight as my junior year in high school (started at 220 and am now 183). My next goal is to run a half marathon.
