After a few days now of eating VERY little, and trying to clean myself out.. i was feeling good. I had my suspicions i might be lactose intolerant. So yeahhh..

my fiance and i did dinner and a movie tonight. And at dinner, she wanted me to try a sandwich. i didn't want to, it wasn't bad, it was just a lot. I ate about half of it though. It was chicken, cheese, and bacon, and avocado. Tasted ok going down, but was really heavy, and my tummy immediately started to grumble at the first BIG item of food it had ingested in a few days. Was not happy.
Then she had me split an appetizer with her of stuffed mushrooms. greasy, cheese covered mushrooms.

i missed 5 minutes of the movie in the bathroom, and was in constant pain and have been ever since.

either i'm VERY lactose intolerant.. or my body was very happy with how i was eating, and got upset at my slip.

I'm kinda mad at her for telling me to order it. All I wanted was the stupid salad with the cajun salmon. Sounded so good. And healthy. :)

Hey guys I have a question:

The other day I did deadlifts then curls, I did some sets of cheats curls as well where I loaded the bar and lean back into them...hoping to get some extra gains. But a day or so after I noticed whenever I leaned back far enough my lower back now pops in one spot.

Not sure what this could be, it only happens when I'm standing straight up, not sitting. And there is no pain or weird feelings that accompany it. I'm wondering if I should take it easy for a few days, or perhaps try some sort of stretching?

I've tired hanging from a chin up bar stretch out, and supermans on the floor as well.

Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Go see a chiropractor and have them look at it. It could be a slipped disc that is not hitting the nerve yet.

I wouldn't chance this at all. Seeing how I am dealing with a disc issue in my neck right now and one wrong move could spell permanent injury for me.

Yes, I know the oven is dirty, I've been busy.... watch me fly.

I did my usual hour long run yesterday and another hour of weights and ab work but I also ate KFC and some sweet stuff.... Today I'm making grilled steak burritos again with guacamole, tomatoes and salsa. Thats all I plan to consume besides maybe some yogurt mixed with some cereal after my workout.

you're hardcore but correct. thats one thing about dieting i have to get used to and that eliminating certain things from meals like instead of frying my french fires, baking them and no sugar on grapefruit.

You have to control that insulin spike and send the correct signals to the brain. Therefore you wont' grave the bad stuff and have major crashes or get super tired throughout the day. One grapefruit from eating clean all these years can send a caffeine sort of stimuli signal that keeps me up and running and motivated to have energy and carry on throughout the day, especially on very low carb diet as today plus carrying it out to the summer on 50 grams or less.

Good way to put it Skiman. Go the natural route to get the boost. Instead of drinking soda and coffee to get that caffeine effect I've been drinking odwalla super food although it still has some sugar.

Saw the Ortho Specialist this morning for my neck and he is ordering therapy 2x's a week for three weeks.

When I asked him if I would workout, he said no to free weights, running, eliptical, impact cardio, yoga and pilates. UGH!!!

But I can do resistance bands as long as I don't over-exert myself. Like when you have to clinch when crapping (his words)... I guess the doc needs more fiber cause I don't have to clinch when I thumper dump....

So I am still limited in my getting back to the gym but I can at least do resistance bands and I'll have to take up walking and swimming for now.
