It's great if you are using the GPS outside but the indoor portion of the app sucks BALLZ!!!

I have to resort to using the sensor and original app in order to track my indoor running.

I don't know why Nike didn't incorporate the sensor tracking with the GPS version when it is in indoor mode.

That's too bad. One central app for everything would be ideal. I love the goal settings and achievement aspects of it all. Feels like I'm a character leveling up in an RPG :lol :yess:

Downloaded a good calorie tracker app. These things rock. Really puts nutrition into the forefront of your mind, if you're having problems with that aspect of fitness as I have.

Heck yeah, Tony rocks. I'm on round 2 and can't wait for P90X 2. The P90X Plus videos are good too.

Yeah, I have the Plus videos and I'm trying to decide if I should do a P90x/Insanity hybrid or P90x/Plus hybrid for my second round while I wait for P90x MC2. I'm leaning more towards P90x/Insanity to keep up muscle mass and burn off more fat.

So I finally got a little time free (spring break) and I decided to rejoin a gym here and get back in gear....

I just started my old routine (slowly) and did some basic treadmill warm ups and chest, bi's, quads one day... then back, shoulders, tri's and calves the other. It's been about 7-8 months since I've been in the gym, and all I gotta say is that I can't fully extend my left arm. :lol

It's been way WAY too long... Not sure if you guys got this sore when taking this much time away from the gym, but thought I'd share. I'll be poking in here to get some diet tips too

Which one did you get ? I need a good one for Android.

I been using a so-so one and trying to keep to around 1500 calories during the week. I tell you when you are counting it is so damn hard to eat.

P90X round 2 so much tougher than 1, but the results are totally worth the training. As for the post p90x workout, I would recommend P90x/Insanity workout as opposed to P90x/Plus workout. Insanity will get your heart racing and trim down any remaining fat you have left. You'll be in the best shape of your life after doing both of these programs.

The one I picked up is called Tap&Track. I've also heard the one made by livestrong.com is great.

Well according to my my weight loss goals it is saying 1500-2000

Females I know are down to 1200 for their loss.

What is the norm and what is the good target for loss.

1500 is fine. I've gone lower when I was heavier and less active. If you have a moderately taxing workout routine, and have extra pounds to shed, 1500 is great. The danger is when you don't have those extra pounds with a combination of a high taxing workout.

If you are lifting any kinda of weights (which i hope you are) say good bye to your muscle. (Your body is gonna think it's starving forcing your metabolism to slow) But i can see you have no proper knowledge of nutrition so i suggest.......

Do some research and more reading. 1500 is not fine. Good luck!

(If you are a male, then chances are that would be pretty unhealthy and unnecessary. You would lose weight, a lot of it being muscle. You could very well damage your metabolism, so when you upped your calories again you would just gain the weight right back. Don't be in a rush to lose weight. Do it the right way.)

No need to speak to me like that. This is suppose to be informational not criticism. I am trying to learn as I am making a concerted effort to work on this and myself.

Eating small items six times a day. Working out three times a week.

But I know I am not a nutritionist. I had no Idea you were, but with your vast amount of knowledge I am sure you could educate us all.

Short of his less than appropriate way of addressing you, 1,500 calories for a proper workout and weightloss routine for a man is extremely low Jimmy. You really have to break your meals down throughout the day, slowing incorporating more protein etc grilled chicken breast, tuna or low carb protein shake, into your diet. If you do stop drastically reduce your caloric intake your body's knee jerk reaction is to think you are starving and store fat. So do a little more research as to what is a good amount of calories for you. Plus remember you have to consume 1g of protein for each pound of muscle mass you have just to maintain your muscle that you currently have.

Thats what im talking about too, unfortunatly its shredding time. i bulked up about 12pds during the last 5ish months now ill up my reps and slightly up my protein to carb ratio for about the next four.
