IMO Darth Caedus, I would continue training until you yourself know that it's unbareable. Now I'm not saying to kill it like you've been doing with a healthy wrist but yea maybe use some guard or straps that can move the motion away from the painful injury and perhaps swap out to other exercises that do not include the free from dumbbell. Maybe the nautilus or machine weight can be less taxing on the injury as well and it will recovery overtime. I've trained with injury and it is indeed frustrating, I actually have a flared achilles tendon on my right foot that I have to massage and warm up before doing any type of cardio, especially running or jogging but I know of only one way to fix it and it's surgery and I've heard it's never the same from several fellas. So I'll keep on trucking until it's inevitable and if it becomes more serious on whatever injury a person may have of course have the doctor check it out to see if it's more serious.

Thanks for the advice man. It's just SOOOO frustrating LoL As I've gotten bigger naturally, if I took some time off to heal, how much muscle mass do you think I'll lose ??? If lost, I'm sure it won't take too much time to get back because of muscle memory???

I'm sure it could bounce back quite fast, if you say about 25lbs or more of size in a few months that's either some nice metabolism or really eating tons!!! :lol

I'd say your genetics will allow a dip and a fast recovery up to par again.

Are you older 30+ or still a pup? :D I wouldn't worry about it if you were the latter, but as I get older it's only getting harder and I have to be stricter.

Man, it's just massive eating...I started at 142 pounds and I'm up to about 169 now(highest was 174) and have a REALLY fast metabolism so, I eat about 8 meals a day and I think I've single-handedly started the Chicken Genocide on this planet LoL I'll keep up with the diet even if I'm not lifting to try to keep what I have now. I just turned 28 a few weeks ago. I know stopping for a few weeks really isn't going to do too much harm, but I'm afraid to get out of the routine. Guess it's more psychological then anything else.

That is definitely the key, you don't want to lose steam. Still at 28 you are still good to go with adding on size at a decent rate as well. I think you would be fine with some time off, just know yourself about jump starting it again as well.

I know how it is to have momentum though and it's awesome whenever you are at the top and smashing all the weights, getting gains and getting new maxes, repping more weight and then mind blogging to see the strength go away so quickly after a break. Almost faster than the appearance to be honest. If you've been going pretty hardcore at it for sometime, it can only do good to perhaps settle down and relax just for a few weeks, heck maybe even a month and restart the training to see if your wrist has healed.

My goal is to be about 185, so taking a little time before gaining more isn't too bad of an idea. Maybe I'll up the intervals a little bit and cut a little bit of bodyfat while I'm healing up.

Sorry to jump in, but when I was in my lifting prime, I used to take 2 weeks off in-between cycles to give my body a chance to rest and heal up. Always seemed to work wonders for me.

Might be a good time to try something like that.

Yea....on one point, I'm kind of glad I got a little hurt; gives me an excuse to take it easy for a few weeks while I heal up :lol

Number two is why I supplement some caffiene, dieting down for a show is no joke so I have to something for a little while whenever I'm basically dieting bare bones almost no carbs. Now I wouldn't go crazy but I only take about 200mg's a day which is one or less cups of coffee equivalent. I actually think coffee might be more but I hate coffee plus it stains your teeth. :D

2. Dive into a Cup of Joe

Maybe you've never thought about coffee as a potential "craving killer," but it's time to wake up and smell the...well, the coffee, obviously.

Even as your spider senses start tingling that a craving is coming on, you should turn to your friend java. Not only does drinking anything tend to take your mind off of the immediate need for eating, but coffee may also suppress your appetite. If you're trying to make it between meals without grabbing a handful of office candy, coffee may be just what you need!

And don't forget the energy boost! When your body craves energy, those fast-burning carbs from candy, chips, and sugar-laden granola bars can look mighty appealing.

Instead, give your body a sugar-free and fat-free caffeine boost! You can even add sugar-free condiments like Splenda or sugar-free syrups for fun. I don't recommend getting addicted to sugar-free coffees, though, because it only makes indulging your sweet tooth with real sugary treats that much easier.

Try plain coffee or a plain latte with nutmeg, cinnamon, and a dash of cocoa powder. If the coffee/espresso is worth its stuff, this concoction will seem both exotic and delicious.

5. DIY Comfort Foods

This next list may not encompass a healthier version of every comfort food out there. But sometimes what we crave about comfort foods is not the meal itself but the texture, salt, crunch, and gooey aspects of these foods.

DIY Healthy "Cheese Pizza"

What You Need:

1 whole wheat English muffin
1 tablespoon of low-sodium canned tomato sauce
1/4 cup low-fat shredded cheese
Spices to taste. (I recommend fresh basil, pan-roasted garlic, chopped, black pepper, and oregano)

What You Need To Do:

Cook the "pizza" in a conventional or toaster oven for 5 minutes (350 degrees Fahrenheit works well) or until the cheese on top starts to bubble and lightly brown while the English muffin toasts on the bottom.

For an even crunchier crust, toast the English muffin before assembling the pizza. Consider adding a bit of shredded chicken for a protein boost!

Ski version

Ground Turkey Pizza
Ingredients
1 8 oz can of tomato paste
1/2 cup of mozzella cheese
1 lbs ground turkey 99% lean
1 cup of oats
1/2 cup of green pepper of topping of your liking

Seasoning to taste (oregano, cumin)

Cooking spray (Olive oil)

Directions
Use a nice large cooking pan and spray evenly with cooking spray. Spread evenly the ground turkey and a sprinkle of cumin or oregano. Cooking in over at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Pull out pan and spread tomato paste over the ground turkey evenly and add the cheese then proceed with toppings. I like green pepper so that is what I always use. Cook in over for another ten minutes and prepare to serve. Serves 4

Whats with all the grapefruit?

Tonight dinner, Shish Taouk, just the chicken and fatouche, minus the bread

Grapefruit it great, very low in calories and works as a natural thermogenic for controlling and burning fat. :duff

I'll post my breakfast shortly, just got back from the gym and logging into work. :rock I'll probably continue some more work on some customs while I'm WFH today.

I'm on day 3 of my first go through of P90X. It is kicking my ass. I'm so sore. I'm sore in places I didn't know I could be sore in. But I have my eye on the goal and will not quit.

Daily but normally just once unless you are craving sweets and usually first thing in the morning it has a pep to it to kick off the day. It's very weird on how it works, I can be draggy from low carbing until I eat a grapefruit and all of sudden a natural boost of energy comes. So ever since then it's been a staple in my diet.
