Alright, so it's definitely a lb a week for me. Which is perfectly fine because I should be able to keep that off a lot easier. I've added a bit of weights to my routine. But not too many right now. Still not ready to overly tone. Not until I get another 10lbs down. I am within my healthy weight for my height, but I'd like to be at the lower end of it. Not too far now.

I wasn't able to make it to the gym like I hoped on Friday, so I planned to go twice on Saturday. Morning and night. Went in the morn, couldn't make it in the evening. So today I am doing double the work out. Yesterday morning I was down a lb but we ate a lot of crap out so I went up .2. Not too bad. I did 260 calories of cardio this morning and a bit of weights. I'll be getting at least 300 calories of cardio this evening and weights.

Well, that's it for me today.
:D

That's awesome Buffygirl!

I lost 35lbs over the last year. I did it by watching and portioning what I eat. As well as walking, jogging, decline sit-ups and swimming.

I was doing decline sit-ups for years and would not have been a able to do any of the other exercises untill just a few months ago because of my nerve pain. But I finally found out what was causing it. I have a b12 deficiency. It causes nerve damage some how from the lack of it. I think mine was under 300. But anyway, the doc has been giving me shots every once in a while and I take b12 supplements. It is totally working! I am not completely recovered, but I would say I'm about 50 percent better. Which is more than fine with me.

I can run twice a week for two miles and walk the same amount In the same week, and even get some swimming or situps in there too. Where as before I could only do situps...

I'm not able to lift weights though, that is too much for me. So Ive been able to shed 35lbs bulk up just a bit withthe swimming, rip the ____ ____ out of my abs and tone myself out pretty good.

Feels pretty good I do say.

Hey guys, as per Ski's advice I just bought a Micronized Creatine.:yess: Any advice on how this take this properly? Dymatize's directions sucks big time! :slap

what dumbells are the best for personal homes, I am thinking of getting the powerblocks but wanted to know if there are better brands versions out there thanks!

Today is one of those days that I just don't feel like food. Nothing sounds appealing and my tummy isn't asking for anything. And for me, that's a big no no because my body will react badly once I do eat. So now I have to force myself to get 'something' down. Booooo.

My regimen is going well. I have finally taken a day off from working out and I think it helped. So I've decided to take 1 day off a week and then in the future maybe get 2 days off or something. But I'm not ready for 2 days off yet. I just don't want my body to always rely so heavy on working out. I do eat healthy and I'm doing really well with that, and my appetite as curved a lot. I will give you an example.

Went to PF Chang's for dinner. Got the chicken lettuce wraps and the main course which is meat/steamed rice.

Normally I would eat my two chicken lettuce wraps and my entire main dish. Well, I ate my wraps, but used way less meat in them, and I ate less then half of my meat, and about 1/4 of my rice. I was full before I knew it. Ate slow so I could notice. So YAY.

I think my calorie intake is around 1000 calories or less a day, depending on what I am eating. But it's not due to eating too little. I love celery and such, and there aren't many calories in that. So I can eat a lot and give my body the nourishment it needs, without getting crazy. :D But I don't just eat celery, obviously. I usually have cereal in the morning, or an egg and toast, or what have you. A yogurt later on (70 calories) then some fruit like an apple or peach, etc. I may have a few almonds and/or some veggies etc later on. And then I have a nice dinner and most times a small glass of wine with it. So I don't starve myself. Not really my thing. I'm just trying to switch up foods I used to eat, with healthier foods now. And I am enjoying it.

I miss potato chips.

Powerblocks ARE the best, don't even think twice! I got the set that goes up to 90 per DB. And they rock, don't know how i got by without them. Will get the upgrade to 130 set soon. Or get the 20lb cores to 110(cheaper for now) we'll see.

(spendy though)

Eww...I knew a guy that ripped his right pectoral muscle. I wasn't there, but he described it the same way.

Yeah he tore both his triceps from doing skullcrushers. I knew it was a matter of time since he was heavily juicing on roids and over-training. Not everyone who tears a muscle is a roid freak but the majority of them are. I've been seeing guys tearing their muscles in gyms since the early 80's. They all tell me the pain is like a huge jolt of electricity running through and the actual feeling and sound is a towel being ripped in half.

randy-orton-wallpaper-2.jpg

This guy did it to his pec while I was there and cried out the door, he told the people at the gym that he was a celebrity and wanted a helicopter to come in.

I didn't know who the dude was at first whenever I first saw him, later someone told me he's a pro wrestler, Randy Orton etc...

He gives me head nods at the gym :lol, now that I've seen him on TV a few times he looks WAY bigger on the screen than in real life, he's more of a lean athletic guy as to where my build represents more like John Cena (<-- THAT dude I knew though as a pro wrestler :D) has.

Have not been able to get into the gym since Thursday and I am feeling horrible :(

Between feeling sick and just available time due to my son's schedule it's hitting my training. :(

I hate these day.
