Got a question about Protein Shakes.

Am i right in assuming that the only key ingredient is either Eggs or Whey powder while berries and Amino Acids are optional and upto the drinker for benefits and flavour?

Protein shakes are not needed at all. You should get the majority of your nutrients from unprocessed foods. That said if you need to fit in the extra protein due to your daily sch go ahead. You can add almost whatever you want in them. I mix it up-from berries to peanut butter and icecream.
 
what kind of motivation do you all use here to exercise?

Easy, I don't want to die like so many of my close family members have in their mid 50's from smoking, and leading unhealthy lives. I would like to see my kids get old enough and meet my future Grandchildren if that's the path my kids want to walk some day. Unfortunately my Father will never meet my kids. That hurts.

Now that said I need a new belt and can soon start to break out some old pants. :rock
 
I think i'll be sticking to my current plan for another 2-3 weeks then switching to a split workout doing a different muscle group each day

Man I've been fighting a bad cold. Yesterday I pretty much gave up on the workout. I mean I finished it but it was so half assed. Been dealing with this **** for over 2 weeks. Yeah I have a sinus infection. My whole body is sore and achey and I'm exhausted. I took today off and might take tomorrow too so the antiobiotics kicks in. It probably wasn't wise pushing through workouts this past couple weeks. Oh well! :yess:

Well i was planning on going every second day but its become every third day because i'm still too sore every second day :lol

My Gym has got lovely hot showers which really help after a workout.

Had a go on the Punching bag today which was well fun

I would like one of those for the basement. I think my main culprit has been the infection I have refused to acknowledge. :slap:rotfl

i just epoxy glue 1 busted rubber slipper/flipflop on my basement wall, at chest level. my very own portable makiwara. :lol

I bought the B.O.B. bodybag recently. I love it. Great cardio workout that's definitely not boring. The only negative or positive whichever you want to call it, is that it scares the **** out of lots of people. I remember my sister-in-law calling me and my wife on the cellphone and whispering "there is a strange man in your backyard...he's weird...he's just standing there looking creepy".......buahahahah..big dummy!!! :lol
