I use any syrup that is sugar free for my oatmeal. I'm in the States so I'm not sure if the brands are the same but Log Cabin is my go-to!

I'm looking for a good alternative to golden syrup on my pancakes.

How does this look... https://www.sweetfreedom.co.uk/index.php

If it's made from fruit then it's going to be a fructose based sweetener.

Fructose is one of the biggest conundrums in sweetening going around.

You see, fructose cannot be used as an energy source by the cells in your body. So, it becomes pretty dangerous to consume in a large quantity, as it just turns to fat.
Additionally, having too much fructose will damage the liver as the liver is the only part of the body that can process it (to get it out of your system). Part of the reason for this is that fructose oxidizes in the body through reacting with proteins and fats many times more than glucose does - and the oxidization process can cause damage.

And fructose also contributes to leptin resistance. Leptins are involved in appetite control, so the more fructose in your system the hungrier you'll feel. The more you'll eat.. etc etc..

Agriculture generates fruit in quantities far greater than we have evolved to be exposed to. So, while a small amount of fruit is advisable in the diet (especially thin skinned fruits, like berries, for their antioxidants etc), generally we want to control our fruit intake for the fructose... simply because the body can't do anything with it.

I'm not sure what alternative to suggest, given the jury is still out on other alternative such as xylitol.

Maybe just go full retard and pour on the maple, but eat them less frequently?

I'm out for a few days. My calf muscle is killing me. I can't seem to get the pain to go away. I iced it and took pills. Nothing. I woke up this morning and just standing on it hurts. I'm going to go buy a sleeve and see if that helps recoup it. :slap

The weird thing is if I do a runners stretch (both hands on wall, leg back, and pushing down) it doesn't hurt. Or if I sit with legs out and pull toe back. It only hurts when I apply pressure with the ball of my foot.

Sad to hear man. These kinda injuries suck. I'm having troubles with an old injury in my left leg. Makes running and squating a hell. Friend of mine has the same problem. He's not allowed to squat beneath 90 degrees anymore...:(

I'm going to try to push it tonight. If it's a no go so am I for a week. I've been rubbing shat on it all day and took mad advil. I had to order a sleeve and it should be here by Friday. So I'm going to cut a tight fitting sock and slide that on there. Ghetto baby! :lol

Sorry for the lack of updates of late, as you all may know I started training for my competition in the Summer time cutting for the big night last night. I not only won my class but the overall, which yes qualifies me to compete professional in the NPC circuit. I'll be signing papers to acquire my Pro Card this Saturday, do some radio interviews and await the engraving of a few trophies. I'm sure there's be some supplement endorsements etc... but I no longer sponsor supplement products as it's not something I really like to push onto up and coming bodybuilders of my community here or where I'm located or online as well.

Now in a perfect internet world I would boast and celebrate with everyone with pictures, online vids, etc... but alas it is not so these days I keep more to myself on a private level with that part of my life as it's not up for critiquing nor fapping. :/

I was able to take a glimpse of my Hot Toys Bespin shipper box the night before...:( So if I was short via PM last night/week it's because I ate two large hand tossed Dominos Supreme and Pepperoni pizzas, bought 4 liters of Dr. Pepper, a Schafley Pumpkin Ale beer, bread sticks, etc... and started watching Halloween shows starting at 5:30 pm with "A Haunting", "House of 1000 Corpes", "Paranormal Activity 1 and 2", "Paranormal Witness", "Halloween Resurrection" and "Episode 5 Star Wars". :)

Now back to your regular schedule programming, thanks everyone for the support this year, I can't stress how much that helps me out to remain inspired and also moving forward.

WOW man. Absolutely unreal. Congratulations.

Are you on Bodyspace? PM me if so - I'd love to follow your progress for inspiration.

175.............Down 17 pounds. I also noticed I'm almost two pant sizes down.

I picked up some supplements to help with things. I got the GNC extreme 60 protein and a can of endurox. I will see if it makes a difference. As for my calf, it's killing me. But I have 3 weeks to tough it out until I take a couple weeks off. I got a hell of a gangsta limp going on. :yess:
