Yeah, energy drinks are just as bad. I don't touch them either. Right now I exclusively drink water and my protein shakes, nothing else. I do allow myself a beer or two on the weekend, but that's it.

During the day I start out with a Protein shake in the morning, and a handful of blueberries. A bottle of water during the morning before I hit the gym.

A bottle of water while at the gym

Protein shake after the gym, a couple of strawberries.

An hour later I have a pita with chicken and sprouts

maybe 2 hours later I will eat 2 whole boiled eggs and drink water.

2 hours after that I have dinner, usually protein item and greens or whole wheat rice. A bottle of water before bed.

That's pretty much all I get daily. Ends up being around 2,000 calories or so.

And on the workout front, I had leg day today and DAMN... I felt like a beast when I left, my legs were wobbly as Hell. Great workout. :rock

Check out this comparison I just did up, showing my progress these past 3 weeks. Pretty cool to see it like that. In the last shot I should have brought my right forearm in a bit to maximize the bicep, but oh well. Still looks good to me. :rock

And a few more, never mind my awful face in the crunch pose.. :lol

Man, i'd hate to be within a 100miles of you when you take a crap! :monkey3
Great shots Josh...Check out the guns. FIREPOWER!

:lol Thanks guys. And yeah Wanderer... DUDE... my #2's have been all too frequent and damn stinky. Same with the gas, it's hilarious. But the shakes are so damn good, so it's the price you pay I guess.

And don't worry Sean, you will get there. And I will be cheering louder than anyone else, because I know the Hell you went through to get there. I can't wait for that day.

ohhh the things I'd do for a Frisco Melt right now.

That's the only burger I still crave. I can ride past McDonalds, Burger King, Checkers... all of them but I still miss that damn Frisco Melt. :lol

It does get better. I have lost a bit of weight from abstaining from fast food but more importantly, I feel a lot better.

That's not a bad idea if you didn't eat like me. My diet was almost exclusively cheesesteaks, burgers, tacos, pizza, steaks, bbq, fries, fried chicken. I can't eat these things and be healthy no matter how hard I work, so for me there needed to be a drastic change. Sure I'm hating it now, but in time it'll become my lifestyle.

That's how I was. I caught myself in time hopefully. I wasn't too overweight but internally who knows what kind of damage I did to myself from such a poor diet.

For a while now I have been mostly vegetarian. I do occasionally have some meat but I have found that it is much easier to eat healthily when you are a vegetarian. Fast food establishments definitely don't cater to that crowd. :lol And when you aren't getting a huge honking burger then you are also not getting those fries which are just as bad for you.

Thanks Josh, it is a climb, but I'm much better mentally about it. My goal was 60lbs by July, I'm going to come up 20lbs short. If I'd known that at the start, I'd have felt like it wasn't worth doing, but at this point in it all, I can see the 40 for it's achievement alone and embrace it, even if it's not the goal. Add up enough short victories and you've won the war.

Exactly! That's the way to look at it. Each 10 lb drop is a goal unto itself. You've lined up 4 victories to date, which a Hell of an achievement. Most people who gain that kind of size struggle with it for LIFE. To drop 40 lbs like that, it's monumental. 20 more is nothing compared to what you have already done. 2 more victories to go, and the war is won.

Then it will be time to start a new war and set up new smaller victories that can keep you pumped and motivated. :rock

Well, 60 was the target, but until I get there, I'm not certain if it'll be enough to be where I want, I'm thinking could end up like 80 in the end, we'll see what happens. No matter how long it takes, I'm already so much better than I was, and it's going to keep getting better.

90lbs is my target and I am only 18% there...
