Not sure if this is appropriate in this thread so apologies if not!
I had a lot of upper and lower back pain a few years ago due to poor posture. I started training in Muay Thai 2 years ago and after maybe only a month of training 3 times a week almost all pain the had left me
Obviously it's not the same training a martial art as it is fitness alone but i do a lot of cardio and core exercises, keeping the heart rate up and also full body stretches
I am not one for going to the gym and just exercising or weight training as it bores me too much and can't keep my attention, however learning a martial art has been able to teach me a whole world of things and improved my health and body 10 fold
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a way to keep fit that doesn't or can't just sit at the gym for hours exercising or weight training
Don't know how lifting weights can be boring unless you're using frilly pink dumbells
. Squats and deadlifts are adrenaline inducing lifts and you don't need to be in the gym more than an hour.
