This was always going to be an incredibly hard figure to make.
I've got to be honest and say I can't see much of the character in this figure but with his body shape and bulk and with what's available at similar prices I'm impressed with how this has turned out.

That's gonna be an awesome display mate. The Skipper is a really attractive figure. Without having watched the show I find myself really wanting him.

As good as Breaking Bad?:monkey3I'll give it a watch when I get some spare time:hi5:

Haven't seen Breaking Bad yet but I've been staring at the BlueRays for some time now and I just have to pull the trigger on buying them.

Just watch the first few episodes of Sopranos and you won't have the problem of finding time to watch them because you will make time.

Disclaimer: Doing a Sopranos marathon does not give you the right to wack somebody just because they looked at you funny. :rotfl

The figure looks decent. Still think the shape is quite off, both body and sculpt. The neck is too long. I really dont get Tony Soprano from it. It kinda looks more like some Russian mob boss if anything, and bowling shirts don't have stiff collars, a better material needed to be sourced. I mean no disrespect to Denny but it looks like a bash, . I hope they can focus more on quality instead of quantity, but it seems like Iminime is geared toward making figures for a different type of customer, which is fine. I'd like to see Trevor's take on Tony one day though. :dunno

I for one actually think it turned out better than I was expecting, I'm quite excited!

There's a lot working, I like the face and the outfit choice,

I don't like the body shape. It really throws off the whole look.

I know with modding I can get it there but hoping Denny can refine it a little.

From experience on mine this will help a lot... Denny I wonder if you can attempt these fixes...

1) shorten the neck. This is most important actually. Most of my iminime figures I feel have too long a neck which I would have no problem shortening but the adapter comes glued in. But for Tony it's most important because it defines his overall body shape.
2) widen the thighs of his pants.. Even more important than padding his thighss is widening the thighs of his pants, trust me it changes everything. if you follow the Hot Toys Godfather pants pattern exactly all the guesswork will be removed
3) widen the waist a tiny bit, right now it's too narrow to the shoulder line.

I honestly think these fixes are more than doable and don't require complex retooling, I just know it will make all the difference because I've done this once before.

Also tucking his shirt in for the next round of pictures will help give him rhe illusion of a wide waist.

Great job I feel it will be a home run with some small fixes.

Not quite.. Gandolfini literally has no neck. And he's fatter than the figure would have it.

I really hate to say this but this didn't meet my expectations in several catagories. Sucks because I really wanted this :( The clothes look pretty awesome though.

Sorry to say this is an easy pass seeing it all togeather. Clothing looks good, the likeness is there but the shape of the head is ruining it. Wish they would have taken my advice about fluffing up the hair and messing with the head shape around the cheek area etc. It's all just too flat and round.

Reminds me of those cheap sculpts on ebay where you send a picture of yourself and they do a digital print. They get the likeness pretty well but your face ends up looking squashed and wrong because its just a generic shaped head instead of yours w/ your hairstyle.

I'm with you PCK. I really wanted this figure, but it was a huge swing and miss.

We still have a lot to look forward to from the Iminime squad. How come I don't see you're name on the Pat Bateman list???? ;) :D
