Can someone post a copy of the photo Denny linked via facebook? I do not have an account but would like to see it.

Denny I'm loving the robe look and fantastic news all around about te changes! Am I understanding that those who ordered the figure already will have the opportunity to buy this robe outfit?

Or are you saying that those who ordered it already have the option to have the original head? Even though I ordered it I hope I have the choice to pick between the old or new head, whatever I like better.

Thanks axe

I believe those who already ordered may get the original sculpt with the new one, as it sounds as though there will be some slight mods to the existing one.

Picture 2 (from axe post above) has a better likeness than picture 1 as it is futzed better, bringing the shoulders up a bit more.

hi ~again,

The Robe is an option and will be updated at outfit section of iminime.net

Thanks~!

Denny

i personally think the sculpt is fine in many respects, but the body is what i feel is throwing the likeness off....

...and here's the other thing that keeps bothering me :horror

The robe, pj's & slippers are awesome!

Thanks Denny for deciding to make changes! You always know how to please your fans and supporters!

Looking forward to the pics...

Yea that's a tough one. IDK how to get around that. Even if they did a neckless sculpt that would fit a muscle body, the neck on the muscle body would be too tall & thin

read post 567, theres a pic of a fat body that might be of use

The proportions on that look really good and would work well for Tony. They should model the fat suit more like that. But where it solves one problem it proposes another. That shiny plastic would look realy bad poking out of the top of the shirt.

Paint it to match sculpt

Of course. But that would mean that they'd have to have the bodies in hand. If they can get their hands on enough of those for the whole run I'd say it's perfect

zero chance of that happening unfortunately would need to be an after market mod done by the buyer. Matching the paint up shouldn't be too hard tbh

i have one of these bodys in hand and i do think it is a good solution to a few of the problems. a no neck headsculpt means he could wear a vest with his bathrobe and his head would sit better. there would be no need for denny and the guys to make fat suits an his proportions would be better. the negatives are, the body would have to be painted to match the head, the wrist would need modified to fit HT peg, socks need dremmeled and ankles modified. this is by no means perfect but like i said in my original post, this idea is for people willing do modify there figs

Come on guys we have to be a bit realistic here... It's hard enough to get the shape of the jead down as it is as it relates to the size/width of the neck. Dictating it by choosing a necked body throws all that out the window.

I totally feel you on the joint issue especially as it pertains to the robe but we need to make a few sacrifices here. :(

Ideally the way to go is a sculpt with neck. If the the right changes and widths/shape/dimentions are applied, there will be a significant improvement. The guys that have been photoshopping are definitely going in the right direction and have great suggestions.

Possible update? :dunno

What I'm also confused about is the body shape. There's probably some futzing issues involved but he looks a little skinny to me. Looking at the pic above, the fat suit looks pretty big and the shirt and pants are obviously bigger than the other clothes around them. But he doesn't appear as big as you'd think looking at that fat suit and clothes, and he doesn't appear to be as plump as Ray's(which is basicly perfect and what Iminime should model theirs on).

Yeah, his gut is the sort that's muscle, not rolls of fat. He's got a distended diaphragm, but it's rigid looking, not jell-o. It juts out just under the solar plexus and moves like he's got a beach ball under there.

It's true Actually, T's body is that of a guy who used to be a football player or a powerlifter and just keeps his appetite up at athlete proportions,

Tony also lifts weights often but barely ever gets on that treadmill beside it. He's got muscle but no cardio to keep him lean and lots of pasta and the ****ing gabagool!

So really the trick is not making him look fat but padding him in the right places that make him look solid
