Loved that post-credits ending! 
That's might guess too. Especially since they apparently left after they did want they wanted. They showed just enough of him they could tie that in later, but not enough for people to get up in arms about if they recast. Very interesting development there.
And man am I glad I DVR Talking Dead too. Recording cut off just as the mask was coming off

I was always on the fence about her but wow am I impressed with how much her character has grown since season 1. Went from an abused wife to this!I have always loved Carol but I never loved her as much as today

They said on Talking Dead that the tatoo faced guy they let out of the train car was the guy from from the flashback that was raping the termites.
I was always on the fence about her but wow am I impressed with how much her character has grown since season 1. Went from an abused wife to this!
I know she kinda sucked at first but i started t like her since season 2. But yeah it's almost a completely different character

Man, I wish I had fired my m203 that accurately the first time like she did, let alone the fact it was a firecracker.
It's funny, in the very opening scene, I was immediately blown away by the executions. I've been so used to movies and shows cutting away or turning the violence down to 2 the last several months that when that happened all I could think was "holy ****! That's bloody as hell and super gory! Sweet!"
Also I missed this post credit scene that everyone is excited about. Can someone post a quick summary of what it was in spoiler tags? Not sure when this episode is on again.

Where the episode has aired, there is no need for spoiler tags about the ending anymore.
A masked and hooded figure is walking along the tracks and sees the Terminus sign that Rick put the mud on. The figure takes off his mask and is revealed to be Morgan! He starts following an "X" in a circle that has been marked into the trees. I presume it was left by Rick's group, but not sure why they would do that since the whole group was back together.
I was wondering that myself.
The show didn't show any of them stopping to, which could have been done off-camera, carve the "X" into the trees.
Could it possibly have been one of the Terminites (Garrett) tracking the group?

What a way to kick off the season. Good to see Rick still kicking ***, Tyreese back to kicking *** and Carol REALLY kicking ***!

Oh, and this smarmy little ---- is so catching a machete - with a red handle - to the face, probably in the mid-season finale.

I know a lot of people here don't like The Talking Dead, but I usually find it very interesting, especially last night. First of all, they had a great guest in Conan O'Brien. He was a riot. However, there were a lot of interesting tidbits that I didn't catch during the episode like...
1.) The blond guy who gets whacked first at the trough was Sam from episode 4 last season. I thought it was him, but wasn't sure until they confirmed it. The actor also plays the Penguin on Gotham now.
2.) Mary was Gareth and the Termite who got shot in the head by the other Termites mother??? Was there something in the dialog that I missed? So that means that Gareth gave the order to kill his own brother?? Wow!
3.) I thought the guy in the last flashback looked like a Negan type too, but they confirmed he was the crazy biker dude that Glenn let out of one of the train cars. I could see the facial tattoos when he came out of the train car, but I couldn't see them in the flashback scene.
Cool stuff. Next week's guest is going to be Tyreese.
Still time to get in TWD dead pool.

The symbol was on at least three of the trees heading into the woods. I like your idea of Gareth (or someone else) tracking them.
For those of you who are saying that Rick was crazy for wanting to go back into Terminus to kill them all, not sure how you can think that after what happened to Rick when he followed that path at the prison. It lead to Lori's death when he didn't kill the inmate and it lead to the prison being destroyed when he didn't go after the Governor. Gareth is a loose end that is going to come back and bite them in the @ss.

The most satisfying WD episode I've watched to date. It was what I had hoped. No screwing around at Terminus. Take care of business and get out. One question: Did Michonne every get her sword back? I don't recall seeing it.
