The most satisfying WD episode I've watched to date. It was what I had hoped. No screwing around at Terminus. Take care of business and get out. One question: Did Michonne every get her sword back? I don't recall seeing it.

I didn't see it either. It did look like she had the sheath for it. I think that is what she used to make her double bladed "lightsaber". :lol

Some people are saying the X is a backpacker/traveler thing to indicate danger or not a good way to go. I also saw someone pointed out that the X was in Morgans house on the map on his wall in the episode "Clear".

I thought I remembered that symbol carved on the tree being painted on some of the buildings in "Clear"? Couldn't find any images on google to back that up. Morgan's expression seemed to indicate he knew what it meant. Also it looked like Michonne's sword was laying on the same table from which Carol picked up Daryl's crossbow. Maybe she picked it up off camera and has it in the bag she was carrying. Seems like they should have taken the rest of those fireworks and lured the walkers out of Terminus, if for no other reason than to raid their arsenal and supplies (except for the human jerky). Last night Carol proved that she really deserves to make it to the end of the show. Which means she probably wont.

Made me think the same thing. I actually reminded me of Hudson in aliens where he finally gets courage only to be swallowed up at the end. She's beingg built up so she can be torn down.

She has no where to go but down now.

Glad I picked her for the dead pool. :yess: :lol

I didn't think of that.

You picked her...and Judith! That's rough, man. :lol

I know. Believe me, I do not want to see Judith die and if it happens, I hope it is off screen. When that Termite was threatening to snap her neck, I wanted to leap through the tv and snap his. Unfortunately, I just can't see them keeping a baby on the show for a prolonged period of time. She's been around now for almost two full seasons.

I really hope that doesnt happen, there are just some lines that shouldnt be crossed.

That'd be lame if they kill Carol, especially now that she's a hardcore survivor. Without her, none of the group would have made it out alive.

But, they'll probably kill her off. McBride was crying at the New York Comic-Con and we all saw what they did to Merle as soon as he started getting interesting. Guess that's just how the show rolls.

And Hershel.

This question is connected to the comic book,so if you don't read it you may not wanna click on it
when Morgan first turned around and had the mask on did anybody else think it was Jesus?

CUZ NOBODY IS SAFE!!! AAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! :panic::panic::panic:

I agree with you. I feel it's gonna happen. I hope it doesn't because she's one of my favorite characters on the show and about makes up for what they did with Andrea.

The unpredictability of death is what makes this show so compelling. Death doesn't wait or skip over someone if they are becoming interesting or likeable. If it happens, it is going to happen regardless of those factors. It is a testament to the strong writing and character development of the show that makes us feel strongly one way or another towards a character or event that happens. This is why the show has "slow" episodes where there might not be a lot of outright zombie killing action, but there is strong character development happening.

I don't think the season premier would have been received so overwhelmingly positively by the viewing audience if we didn't have the second half of S4 where the characters were split up from each other, not knowing if anyone else from the group was alive, and then reuniting in the season premier under dire circumstances. It made the viewers appreciate the group dynamic that much more once it was taken away from us. The reunions between Carol/Daryl and Rick/Carl/Judith and Tyreese/Sasha were among the most emotionally powerful moments of the entire series. Emotionally powerful in a positive, hopeful way.
