Watched it. Enjoyed it. The head bashing and throat slashing scene was very tense even though I knew none of the mains were gonna get it there because it would have been talked about here (I read spoilers, can't help myself)

I wanted Glenn to get his head smashed in so bad but I knew it wouldn't happen.

Soon

Just got finished watching it a second time. Just a great episode overall. Here are some random things I noticed. Some might mean something and some are just amusing.

1.) Sasha and Michonne seem very suspicious of Eugene's "cure". He basically spouts a bunch of video game mumbo jumbo when explaining it to them and says a lot without saying anything of any real importance. Fight fire with fire, etc.

2.) Both Abraham and Rosita tell Eugene he doesn't have to say anything. Towards the end of the episode, Abraham says to Rosita that they will tell them (meaning Rick's group), but later. I wonder if they know that Eugene is full of *****e?? Maybe Eugene is Abraham's brother or something and they came up with that story to make sure Eugene is protected by everyone since he can't take care of himself?

3.) Carol has time to ditch the bloodied poncho she was wearing in Terminus and freshen up a bit by washing the guts off her face before meeting up with Rick and the group. I guess she wanted to look her best for Daryl.

4.) I think Daryl was so emotional when he sees Carol because she was carrying his crossbow. :lol

5.) At the end, Rick and the group are headed away from Terminus along the tracks when Rick stops and puts mud on one of the signs and then walks past it. Shouldn't it have been facing the other way? Directing people towards Terminus, not away.

6.) The sign that Morgan finds at the end looks different from the one we see Rick put mud on. Either it is a different sign or Morgan is several days behind the group (the mud streaks are different and the vines are more overgrown on the one Morgan finds.) Or someone got lazy with continuity. Maybe they didn't film the Morgan scene until well after episode one was done and couldn't match up the sign?

7.) Either Gareth or Alex do say "mom" when Mary is thrown back into the car in the last flashback. Very hard to heard though and I couldn't tell which one of them said it. Maybe both of them say it and that is how we know they are all family? It was too dark to see any tattoos on the guy's face. Maybe that is why Gimple was quick to point out that he was the same guy they rescue from the train car. If I hadn't seen that on TD, I never would have guessed it was the same guy.

8.) I wonder if Tyreese really killed that Termite in the cabin. We never see the body and while he tells Carol that he killed him, he doesn't let her go inside to see. Also, the Walkers that Tyreese killed outside the cabin are gone when Rick and the gang show up. Was Tyreese tidying up the place for visitors?

9.) The Termite who gets his nose bitten off by the Walker on fire was one of the few times where the make up was not up to snuff. You could tell the Termite's face was a rubber mask and it had no real facial features. It was just a flesh colored blob. On TD they said they had to have the Termite wear a mask to protect him from the fire on the Walker.

There's only one female in this picture.

Yeah I noticed that one straight away. How the ****. Where the ****. When the **** :lol

You wouldn't talk to a 3 year old the same way you do to an adult, would you? This is what I got from that scene. He wasn't being condescending, but he was making it very basic - it's already been explained he doesn't really have any social skills to speak of, so I found the scene fit well and I didn't notice whether anyone had a problem with it afterwards.

I noticed some of the same continuity issue you mentioned as well, sign direction, mud writing/marks and vines between scenes, missing zombies at the cabin.

One of the things I'm really curious about is how there going to handle the cure/cause of the walker infestation and how Eugene's story will be handled. I saw an interview awhile back with Gimple and he kind of hinted that we might actually have a sense of what caused the outbreak. So maybe Eugene actually does know something more about what's going on.

And about the whole Carol cleaning up thing, I thought that was pretty lame at first, but maybe she didn't want to be mistaken for a walker by the group similar to how Daryl was shot by Andrea in season 2. Obviously they were all pretty fired up and emotional and since they were still close to Terminus, it probably wouldn't have taken much to set them off. That's my justification of it anyway.

The thing what bothered me about the Eugene exchange is, what is the point in keeping it a secret? It's not like one of the group is going to sneak off and call someone with the formula. Plus if something were to happen to Eugene who ever is left could still deliver the information to DC if they knew what it was. I don't read the comics so I don't know where that part of the story fits in, but I kind of thought Eugene's cure knowledge was BS from the beginning. What better way to get people to protect you and watch your back than to convince them you are important.

:exactly: I can think of no reason not to tell the group about the cure. Unless he doesn't know what it is either. Something fishy there.

I assume they don't want to bring up their desire to go to D.C. yet with Rick.

This seems like some pretty obvious foreshadowing, that Tyreese wasn't able to kill him, and he'll come to regret it later. Same with Gareth and others. The rest of the crew should have listened to Rick. Someone will die because of all this.

I'm glad Judith hasn't been killed off yet, but I keep feeling like they are gonna do it at some point.
