The problem I have with it is that it should be some massive emotional moment for viewers, but by the time season 7 rolls around, al those feelings will be waaaaay gone by then, plus we will probably already know before the season premiere who got killed. So where's the fun in it anymore? It should have been one big impactful moment. We should have seen who it was, seen the reactions, and seen a little few seconds of aftermath, all that's gone now. When season 7 starts it will be 'meh' the moment will have passed. We should've seen who it was, no doubt about that for me.

Unless they open season 7 with a really cleverly done episode, it's just going to feel a little obscure.

And when have the Walking Dead writers ever created one of those?!

It is ridiculous that intelligent and thoughtful shows like Hannibal get cancelled and brainless, poor story-telling nonsense like this continues. If the story lines were actually any good (likes seasons 1 and 2) this show would be worth watching.

I'm sick of all the actors saying in interviews:

''Everything will change after the next episode''

''I couldn't go to work because it was too awful''

even Andrew Lincoln said he was late to work the day the shot the finale because he was so anxious about the episode - but about what?? Driving around for an hour and then seeing NO ONE die??

It could be Daryl that got hit with Lucille, because there was a commercial after one of the scenes and It showed Norman Reedus in a new reality show.... so who knows

I'm not mad and can't really understand the hate on the finale. It's clear that the writers don't even know who they are going to kill off at this point. Good on them for it. The next season will be the start of a new story arc which is exactly how seasons should end and begin. It's just going to happen to begin with someone dying.

I think everyone's frustration is stemming from the feeling of something being "held back" from them, or that they are missing a piece of information, when I'm looking at it quite the opposite. The show was written and filmed that way to tell that story, and that's exactly what it did. I don't NEED to know who died any more than I just want to keep watching this show for the same reason I always do: I want to see what happens next.

You sound like Scott Gimple. :lol

Tell me again what story that is?

Was it about showing how in over his head Rick is? If so why end on the POV shot? Unless...

HOLY ****

Rick got his head bashed in!

Last person we see before Negan says "it". You can see Negan's shadow cross over to the left of him. Negan looks and talks at people to left and right of character before the bat comes down.

"Anybody move, anybody says anything cut the boy's [points bat to left] other eye out and feed it to his father [looks like he points bat forward] and then we'll start."

:panic::panic::panic:

Loved Neegan but thought the POV shot with the blood was overly lame and cheesy lol

The first person view should be the giveaway.

First person view inside the truck with the bullet holes. It seems that the character is in front on the left side of the others inside the truck. The person getting their head smashed is also first person view.

When they open the truck doors, the character in that position is Daryl.

It all points out to him.

No matter who got killed, someone will complain that it wasn't another person.

Someone put up a still that shows Carl's hat shadow on Negan as he takes his first swing. If that isn't there just to throw people off, then the person who got hit was to Carl's right.

They're privy to what happened but we aren't.

Besides, those guys always blow things up. I've seen it before.

btw...Does anyone else think that Jesus sorta dropped the ball in informing Rick about Negan and all the guys he has? I don't recall Jesus telling him that Negan has that big of an army.

:lol @ everyone whining about the cliffhanger.
I thought the season finale was good and the tension just fueled the story for me. I'm looking forward to season 7. :yess:

They jacked us to the brink, let go, and then walked away saying "we'll finish this in 6 months... sort of".

It's time to take out one of the original characters. For them to drag out a cliffhanger for six months, it's got to be somebody huge that viewers have invested in since the beginning. It's not Michonne, Rick or Carl. My money's on Daryl. Anyone else, honestly who would care once the next season starts?

Would it have made a difference? We are all going to watch next season regardless.

I guess if they think they will die before next season, then I understand the concern or anger, but then again, it won't matter then anyway.

Instant gratification, you're not going to get it on this show and people should know that by now. :lol

Love the cliff hanger ending and love all the bitching and complaining about it. Suck it haters. :lol

Lol people will blindly defend all the crappy things this show does at times like these cat pee-smelling 38 year old fangirls at walker con.
