U could always say the same about real life mob bosses today.
How come no one takes down mafia bosses or gang leaders, cartel bosses or anything?
How come these bosses dont get taken down by their own people? How can they have so much power and loyalty?

The problem with mob, gangster mentality is that they don't last long. Their destructive behavior results in being betrayed or replaced. But country like North Korea last so long only because they have a long history/culture to back them up, or too big to fail.

Negan is his own worst enemy. He'll get what is coming to him, in due time.

But there are laws in real life that don’t exist in TWD. Nobody’s going to jail or going to have to squeal to the cops on anyone if they get caught. If 2-3 of Negan’s higher ups decide to take him out it would be easy.

Rather than a mob boss, I would think it more akin to a Jim Jones scenario. Lots of people don't like the man in charge, but everyone is too scared to say anything because no one is sure who are true sympathizers and who are wolves in sheeps clothing.

Well going to jail doesnt stop gangs or mobs or cartels from killing each other all the time but then i always wonder how those bosses dont get betrayed. Look at guys like pablo escobar. Or el chapo. Laws dont really apply in their world and they kill the competition but are loyal to their boss.. why

Negan may be an ***hole, but his men are getting lots of stuff for doing little work. He may be bad, but they wouldn't have all the stuff they do without him.

They dont get betrayed (initially) because thier followers derive some benefit from having this person in charge. In this case the saviors clearly occupy a dominate role in the landscape- lots of food and safety. All at little or no cost.

From my extensive knowledge of how the mob works based solely on pop culture movies and tv shows (yes, I'm half joking), Mob bosses don't treat their own people nearly as bad as Negan treats his own men. If a mob boss abused his men like Negan does, I'm sure there would be more revolts in the mob. But it's not even about revolts, it's about Rick and his team retaliating. If Negan is killed, yes there would be a handful of loyalists that would fight back, but chances are most of his men would give up and say, "can I join your team now? Negan was such a jerk to me." One dominant person in charge gets replaced by another that will hopefully also provide some food and safety.

And he does have protection and supplies so technically he has the equivalent of money " the governor did as well "

Because they're given just enough of the spoils to have it better than the other guy.

You guys are also forgetting what Negan inferred to Dwight. The top guys get to enjoy the ***** bar. They get to walk around like Rambo, eat what ever they want, take whatever they want. Yeah, I'm sure Negan is real worried about his men turning on him.
