Why can't they do that with every episode! It keeps everything moving forward. Better story telling!

I'm thinking that Rick's gonna have a mental relapse when he comes back and finds Negan sipping lemonade on the front porch with Judith on his lap. He'll probably start seeing ghost-Lori again and then she's gonna **** with his mind further by telling him that Shane would have already taken care of Negan.

It must be hard for all the original actors (not the characters) when new characters are added and the OG characters find themselves on the sidelines and no story lines. Rick/Daryl are not the main characters this season. They have had very little to do. Maybe to go as far as one or two days shoot so far?

Eh, I bet they probably enjoy the change of pace because they know they are going to made out to be the ultimate badasses again when the story plays out. As an actor, they probably look forward to being able to be victorious when they were broken for so much of the season.

Rick and Daryl still have unlimited seasons to film - they'll be OK. $$$

It's been established that Carl can't aim straight. They should have had him open fire on Negan and miss. Not just stand their mouth agape. He already heard Negan in the truck.

I don't know. Maybe it's his personality and lack of fear that makes people afraid to act against him? I mean, Carl could have killed him several times with the baseball bat. The guy with the burned face and all the wives could easily turn against Negan and kill him, but no one dares to touch him. Olivia could easily poison him with the lemonade, but she won't.

Yeah, the cop out that they have the numbers and we will get wiped out if we attack I think is BS. From what I can see so far Negan has maybe a handful of loyal followers (Dwight not being one of them) who would go crazy and fight back if Negan died but I think the vast majority of the Saviors would be more than happy to see him go. Kill Negan and the few who are loyal then stand up and tell the people you don’t want to take over you want them to decide on a new leader and you want to open up “free trade” among all the colonies… Help each other, protect each other.

By the way does Negan have a backstory in the comics? Since it looks like he will be around for a while it would be interesting to see what he was before and why he became what he is now.

This doesn't even happen in the present day World that has laws and governments. There's no way the 'help each other, protect each other' principle would work in an apocalypse. Even after Negan's gone there would be another dictator to fill the void.

Little different in the zombie world. In real life if you can say if Mexico doesn't like us who cares we'll talk to Canada. There are not a lot of options for them in zombieland. Maybe it something that only makes sense on paper.
