Wild animals would carry on as normal. I was just thinking about all those domestic pets that would have to survive by themselves. With no owners to buy them dog food they would soon revert back to their instincts and hunt for food. How many dogs are kept as pets in the US?

I think I read somewhere that the number of domesticated dogs actually outnumbers the human population, at least in the USA.

But I was wrong, the number of domesticated dogs is estimated to be between 70 and 80 million, a little less for cats.

Still, that's an awful lot of Alpo.

Watching season 2 again. If memory serves I enjoyed it more than many here did and I have to say I'm enjoying it now too. Really miss these older characters. Weird to think most of them are dead.

*scratches head furiously*

"Hey, a-dev, mask you sumthin. U think you can just go baaaack, thangs are different now a-dev. HOW U GON SURVIVE, A-dev? You ain't made for dis worl a-dev, I'm a better forther then yoouuuuu."

Hah, you nailed that^

Finished episode 7, where Shane loses it, they clear the barn and find Sophia. Man that was a good episode. The Rick and Shane arguments are classic.

Now it's all coming back to me. Shane, Dale, that gang in the bar, the situation with that Randall kid, good stuff. Been years since I've seen them.

Shane and Merle (season 3) were my favorite characters. Glenn was better too.

1-3 are great seasons. I did love season 2 just so much better character stories and I'm on the boat as I enjoyed shane. Not the same anymore but negan is bringing it back a little at a time.

It was my favorite season. The original core cast was very strong imo. I loved Shane too. I loved the edge and tension he brought to the group. Loved his **** you demeanor. Even though I know he was in the wrong, I think he was a badass leader. I thought he brought the best out of Rick as well back then as a character. It would have been interesting how the group would have evolved over the years if they were able to make amends. You'd have two generals.

I want them to make that happen. An alternate reality Walking Dead where Shane is still around.

Shane wasnt wrong about anything

I always wonder or day dream about what would Shane have done with the Gov or Negan. Im sure shane would have tried to kill the Gov as fast as he could.

I wonder what shane would have done with Michonne showed up. Or what Shane would have done in terminus....

I personally like to think he would have won all of those situations
