Why did it look like negan was about to cry when rick said he would kill him?

I think the conviction of it took Negan off guard. But I didn't think he looked like he was going to cry. I think in some sick way Negan likes the challenge. Sort of like the Joker and Batman.

Yep.

Like The Joker, Negan is fearless. He would welcome death and die laughing. Seeing Rick's unbreakable spirit is both infuriating and exciting to Negan. Where The Governor was a sociopath trying to keep his people in order with an iron fist, Negan is a psychopath that would set his own people on fire just to make a point.

What's up with The Kingdom in this finale as well? Aren't their numbers more than what we saw? That was just like King Ezekiel "and the brave 300", as it was only a squadron.
And also, what happened to Dwight in the battle? Didn't see much of him, to distinguish if he really sided with Rick & Daryl, or he was just lying.

In "The First Day of the Rest of Your Life" (S7E16), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) takes a rifle off a scavenger while continuing to fight his way through Alexandria. The rifle appears to be a Seekins Precision with a flat dark earth finish, Magpul UBR stock, Precision Reflex Gen III Delta Carbon fiber forearm in rifle length, the rifle appears to be a full auto sbr and has no sights (a common theme on this show it seems).

Not sure that's the gun you're referring to since I don't watch the show.

I was a little confused when everyone else appeared to turn the tables on whoever was holding a gun on them but in the midst of it all it seemed Rick hadn't made a move and weird girl still had him captive.

To take that one step further, it didn't make sense that they both just stood there on top of the wall once the shooting started. Neither one ducked for cover. Both sides had a clear line of site and could have taken either one of them out at any time. TV writer logic I guess?

Where did Maggie and Ezekiel and their people come from? Rick seemed surprised to see them. Were they hiding somewhere or is there a back door that no one ever mentioned?

Truthfully nobody really mentions the backdoor. Its private kept to themselves and their significant other!!

Season one had 6 episodes. Season two had 13.

The rest (i.e. seasons 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7) have 16 episodes per season. I think the numbers still pretty accurately reflect the fan base's increasingly lukewarm reaction to the series.

A 90-minute Negan backstory episode is absolutely welcomed. Morgan and Eastman's Jedi training episode was IMO the best episode of the series. I'd love to see them top that with one that showcases how Negan became Negan.

There is going to be a prequel episode when Rick captures Negan and places him in Morgans cage. We will get to understand who Negan is, why he has a bully mentality and why he calls his Bat Lucille (I have no clue but curious). This flashback will be about two or three episodes.

Lucille is the name of his high school bully
