It was ****ing dumb. Everybody running around in the open totally vulnerable and none of them get hit even though there were plenty of chances. Bad guys are literally standing next to and behind the goody guys, able to shoot them.

No one got hit?

I saw alot of dead bodies...and Rosita got hit for sure.

the fact that the tiger went to roam on its own and not eat anyone friendly was stupid as hell

I'd argue with you but I've given up doing that with anyone in this thread. I didn't find it stupid at all and was one of the best things about this episode.

I agree with Sachiel regarding the battle.....tons of auto / semi automatic weapons point blank aimed at Rick's group one would expect their casualties to be pretty severe. Rick was shot but wasn't in the infirmary with Rosita and Michonne? Plenty of moments that felt lazy but still enjoyed the show for the most part.

My thing is this - when an episode delivers the kind of story advancement that this one did with all the drama and tension it entailed I can more easily forgive things that seem silly. That's not so easy to do when the episode is a boring supply run story with characters dealing with contrived Walker peril - stuff that, in a shorter season - could merely be referenced with a few lines of exposition dialogue. As others have suggested - even some who seem to always defend the show - they should reduce the number of episodes so the seasons flow better.

It wasn't an amazing season but with what that finale has done we're surely in for a better one next year....or the end of this year, whenever it airs.

Very true. Remember Hershel's superloaded shotgun of invincibility. That didn't really bug anyone since the episode was awesome and it gave everyone something to laugh about, regardless of it's absurdity.

Hershel's unlimited ammo is still one of the show's all time best moments.

Does anyone else feel this season was a waste?? For anyone who hasn't seen season 7 I would recommend only viewing episode 1. The episode when the garbage group get introduced and the last episode.. Those 3 episodes sum up the whole season... Well for me anyway!! The rest was boring!!

And don't get me started on Carl's aim.. His line of sight on his rifle, is using his RIGHT EYE.. or his RIGHT EYE SOCKET!

Finale was one of two or three episodes this season that was actually quite enjoyable, despite the silly stuff. Can't ever imagine myself sitting through that entire season again.

I find that most of the episodes have a reason for being. Could they have been shorter and still make their point? Sure, but I still enjoyed them for what they are/were. I would say the episode this season that I liked the least was the Tara episode, though like I said, I understand why they did it.

I'm hoping for a Negan backstory episode next season.

My favourite part of the whole episode was Negan seeing Maggie and going like "the widow is still alive!" His expression and all was priceless!!! Best part of this season.

Rick and Michonne were utterly useless in this episode especially Rick which says a lot as I am a massive Rick fan but not in the finale. Poor scripting on that part.

I was a little confused when everyone else appeared to turn the tables on whoever was holding a gun on them but in the midst of it all it seemed Rick hadn't made a move and weird girl still had him captive.

Exactly! I was screaming for Rick to do something anything but he just stood there hand on gun which was way out of character.
