Finally got around to watching the latest episode. It's crazy how quickly this show has gone from my favorite thing on TV, to a joke of a daytime soap opera, and now finally to a steaming pile of lazy writing and forced drama.

I'll watch the finale, but after that, I'm out. The books will suffice.

Really??? there's an obviouse quallity drop from season 1 to 2 for reasons we all know but imo it's currently the best show on tv at the moment..Well for you guys anyway. I have to download it every week as it's not showing here in Aus..

yeah, yeah, i know zombie babies have been done before in the dawn of the dead remake. but zombie babies are pure awesome so doesn't mean the walking dead can't do it too, and put a fresh spin on it. i like the idea of a reversal, where the unborn child is a zombie and the mother is still human (for now). it sure would be a fate worse than death for lori, and given her overall lack of popularity around these parts, i'd say that'd make for a kickass subplot.

but i doubt the show would take that route. now that the whole "romantic triangle" thing has been done with, that baby's dramatic purpose story-wise would probably shift to representing hope amidst uncertainty for the future.

I'm not really sure where you could go plot-wise with a zombie baby. It's dead, so it won't age, and it hasn't the teeth or strength to eat flesh. Other than killing the baby and dealing with the emotional aftermath, it doesn't seem like you'd get much mileage out of that.

Zombie babies are just, soo cheesy, I mean,
I remember at the movie theater watching Dawn of the Dead, it was supposed to be this scary bad moment in the movie when the guy shot the lady because she shot her zombie wife, and then the baby zombie appears on camera..

and everyone in the theater were laughing their asses off, seriously, everyone was laughing at the zombie baby, is just so weird and cheesy

ummm, i dunno what crowd you watched it with, man. but the audience i was with was quite disturbed by the sight of an undead child. the defilement of new life just screamed death of all hope. it was grim.
