Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

My problem is, a farm is boring visually. It's just a house. That place Nam is talking about...that could be very amazing visually. Lots of texture, lighting....I'm excited.

If they can keep the style they have now, it's just going to get better.

The early episodes were really bland. Boring old forest. Meh.

But now? Boring night time scene becomes AWESOME with that amazing lighting, and direction. Love that shot at the end of the last one with Shane and Rick, and the moon.

Exactly. It would be like if the entire first season had taken place at the camp. If whole seasons are going to be single location from now on, pick some place interesting.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Zombie and farmhouse are like peanut butter and jelly. Get outta here.

But the NOTLD farm houses looked cool. This one didn't. Looks like any house.

Break it up. Blow it up. Make it look old, and decrepit. Show light pouring in from bullet holes, and blood everywhere. I hate how nice and homey it looks.

I find the characters to be the interesting part. To be honest I haven't really thought twice about them being on the farm primarily. To me it's about the characters. I couldn't care less about the environment. Put them in a quick stop the whole season and I wouldn't mind.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I need a location that is visually stimulating...something like...oooh shiny _____!! What was I saying?:dunno

What's wrong with visuals? It's a visual show right? It had a great look at first, and then lost it, and now it's getting it back.

I want the whole package. I love how people can't accept any sort of critisim to the show. Even when someone compliments the ____ out of it. :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Who the ____ would want to live in that?

Don't care. Looks more interesting. Gives it more depth. I'm just making a point. I wish that house didn't look so clean though. It's obvious why, but still.

I love how some people get so defensive and can't take a joke.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I'll criticize the ____ outta the show, but location ain't the problem.

I still don't get the location part? Aren't all TV shows filmed in the same sets and locations for years? Seinfeld, Full House, ER, House, whatever pick your poison. It's not the locations that keep these shows running for years. It's the characters.

Yes, not wanting to stare at trees for an entire season means I have ADD. Are you even capable of engaging in a discussion without resorting to childish insults? My opinions on this show are not meant as direct personal insults to you, I'm not sure why you seem to be taking them as such.

:lol You're a goofball. The farm, with all it's colors and textures and vast landscape is less visually appealing..

...than a white-walled prison surrounded by razor wire and chain link fences?! :lol

"OMG! That blue door was just sooooooo awesome!" :dunno

I agree, the characters are the most important part, absolutely. I'm just tired of looking at pastures, that's all.

These ____ers would hate In Treatment on HBO. It takes place in one room every week.

Bit of an exageration there don't you think? Post away dude, I am not taking offense to anything you post.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

^ Shawshank Redemption man.
:lol

That movie is beautiful. I dunno. I can picture it. And if they keep the same people from now on, I'm expecting some really, amazing looking episodes. These past ones have been brilliant.

It'll be a modern one genius. :lol

No, not really. Well, I guess we did see the bar and drug store in town, so there's that.

I'm sure you're not taking offense at my posts, I try my best not to be condescending or belligerent.

I agree. I have barely noticed the farm this season, its all about the story.

Still could be visually amazing :lol

And it's not the location. The farm looks fine now. I'm just bored of it. Sue me. :lol

I'd take a new location. Any new location. Especially the one Nam says.

But still, I loved this show for it's characters, cinematography, special effects, and acting. I love that whole package. And it's back.
