Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

A great follow up episode to the season premier. Now that the survivors are coming together, there is a lot more dialog and action. The suspense was ratched up another couple notches as they had to escape from Atlanta. The only complaint I have is that I was so amped up after watching it that I couldn't fall asleep right away. Now I am a zombie at work today.:rotfl

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I haven't read the comics but I keep hearing about the
prison scene and what happens to the characters throughout the series but I don't actually know any specifics. Would anybody who has read the comics be kind enough to elaborate on these things in a spoiler tag? I can't get enough of this show and want to find out more short of going out and buying the comics (which I'm considering). Also, will the prison episode possibly be seen in the short season 1 or does this scene happen much later? Just thinking about prisoners being stuck in a jail cells why the world around goes to hell is haunting. I have been imagining dead walking the halls of the prison and the prisoners slowly wilting away with no hope of getting out - chilling concept much like the series has been.

As someone who hasn't read the comics either, I really appreciate all the posters in here who use the spoiler tag and keep me spoiler-free. I want to read the comics, but I am enjoying the series way too much right now so I will hold off on reading the comics until a much later date.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I had great zombie dreams last night.....little zombie girls using chains with peices of glass attached to the end to slit people's throats, and all kinds of wierd ____.....perhaps I shall use them in a film.....hmmmm...:D

Ironically you just un-spoiler tagged his post.

Sounds like it be a ____ty movie.

Perfect for this generation of film goers though

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

No, I went back in and tagged what I wrote after the fact just to keep it covered in case people didn't want to read anything about the upcoming plot points. I should have tagged my comments to start with so I apologize for that. Still looking for for spolier talk though if anyone wants to spill the beans (spolier tagged of course).

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

loving this show so far and theres not 1 single point that i wasn't hooked.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Well, I'm like a week behind. I did finally watch episode 1 but need to see ep 2.... Honestly, Episode 1 blew me away. I love the long pull back shot off all the zombies eating the horse. Awesome stuff! :rock

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Loved last night's episode, especially the sound effects of a certain part..."Give me the axe, we need more guts." EPIC :rock

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

dude I've been impressed since the first few minutes of episode 1. my only negative statement was that i could do without the cheating wife bit. also, I don't get off seeing flat chested broads like that in bras. waste of a perfectly good sex scene, imo.

Come on Prog. You make her sound like a two bit tramp. She doesn't know her husband is alive.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Yeah i actually was into the sex scene, i mean she was game, he even turned her around...i was like nice!!! Yeah ep. 2 was just as epic as ep. 1. Fantastic, i purposely didnt watch the little preview for next weeks episode so I'll be totally surprised. Great show.

True, but I also think the grief of her "dead" husband should keep her legs closed for at least a little while :lol But then again, within the context of a zombie apocalypse, whose to say how people should act.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

lol. i agree with earlier poster it seems something was going on before all the business went down but thats the point, i didn't see a need to have this story line as theres already enough going on.

i'd have rather seen a buddy moment with the 2 cops being happy to see each other than to have the inevitable drama of whose the wife going to chose, the fight between the guys and then episodes full of awkwardness. leave that stuff for soap operas.. IMO!

just my personal preferrence, i probably wouldn't make a very good director or storywriter though. :lol
