No, just the pilot episode. But he hand-picked all of the directors and was on set 90% of the time for all 6 eps.

Wow with just the second episode it's already evident how wildly divergent the show will be from the original story. That's not a bad thing, per se. I like the possibility of not knowing how things will turn out.

I know right... Anyone remembers The Black Donnellys on NBC... I liked that show and then it got cancelled.. I was soo pissed.

Tonight's episode was fantastic!!!! Im very pleased so far being an avid reader of the comic, that they are going to get to the same places, but how they get there will be different enough to keep me surprised. LOVE GLEN!!! The actor is perfect. And the zombies ruled!! Love the picking up of rocks and other objects to smash windows. In fact, I would say these are my favorite zombies I've ever seen. Nice how savage they are when they spot their prey.

Thank you so much to AMC and Frank Darabont for not only meeting my ridiculously high expectations for this show, but exceeding them.

Found this at the FX forum

According to the AMC rep at BICS there will be 2 versions of each episode - a 70 minute version and a shorter 40+ minute version for TV channels that want/need a standard length show for their timeslots. As far as I'm aware this 'FX Director's Cut' is the same 70 minute version shown on AMC in the US last week.

So it seems most of us saw the "Director's Cut"

This was a great follow up to the premiere, loved it and I am definately hooked. I actually look forward to late Sunday night now!
