That's a cool response to a cool gif.

EDIT* Not sure why me saying it's cool needed to be posted.

Just seen the final and I absolutely loved it. Really good stuff there. :D

I shall look forward to seeing more of this character as I'm not familiar with the comics at all.

Brings it over the page. It's cracking isn't it. I found it on live journal. :D I'm afraid I don't know who made it originally.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Thanks for the link.

He's got some good points, but it's all personal preference/opinion.

I do agree on the red-shirts, that was so obvious they were going to die....and Mazzara treated it like Jimmy was a valuable character (because they thought killing him in the same episode as Dale's death was too many deaths in a 2 episode span. wtf?). I get the feeling Jimmy was not a red-shirt to Mazzara.

I kinda wish Shane did survive, it would have been interesting to see him run off and maybe he'd show up later or something. But at the same time, once the Governor gets on the show I am sure we'll all forget about Shane. Thought I wonder how the two would have interacted.

Glad to see Hershel survived, I can see him replacing Dale as the wise old man. But I do see Hershel being a bit more open on options as opposed to being one sided like Dale.

I was worried about how this second season was going to be without Darabont, and it wasn't that bad. But I still think it suffered, Darabont is a genius storyteller. Even with Kirkman as head writer....I think that Frank not there is hurting the show. Frank was going to write and direct all the major characters final death scenes (I would also assume all season openers and finales). I guarantee you that if we saw Shane's death written and directed by Darabont ,it would have been better in all ways than what we saw (which I thought was a little lackluster). I'd love to see an interview with Darabont about what he thinks of the show now, if he even watches it.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

The one thing I don't get with Michonne - yeah, the walkers don't have jaws or arms, but they should still have the urge to attack.

Does the comic actually explain why they're so placid?

Michonne herself had two zombies in tow, her boyfriend Mike and his best friend Terry. Both in shackles and having had their jaws and arms cut off, Michonne mentions that after a while they stopped trying to attack her and their presence decreased the chances of other zombies attacking. Having survived in the wilderness for quite some time alone, she decides to join the group of survivors at the prison when offered the chance.

I wouldn't have expected that, since I just wouldn't have thought walkers would ever stop, or have even the smallest inkling of "this isn't working, I give up". But hey, they wrote it.

As I said I haven't read the comics but fancy a bit of spoiling, so can anyone tell me more about the Governor? :)

It's not a far grasp to think that they can't learn. "Hello Aunt Alicia!"

Let's try and keep any "signature group" crap out of this thread please. Start a new thread or a group or something.

One of the producers tweeted about Lori - "it's difficult to develop a Lady Macbeth type character." That the creators actually see her as a villain comes as a surprise to me - perhaps she's not as poorly written as I'd believed - just that her motivations are completely opposite of what we might have thought.

She's come off as a manipulative pseudo-villain for at least the entirety of season 2... Like you said Dave, she's not as poorly written as some have come to believe.
