Meh. Andrew Lincoln is amazing. Every scene he does, he puts a ton of emotion into it. Dude is awesome.

:gah: Gross. :monkey4 You should switch it back to the "no hotlinking" image. :lol

Hey, I have to put up with you guys and your chick pics all the time. If I can find an excuse to post a good lookin' man, I'm gonna take it. :D

Anyway, Lincoln is great in the part, no doubt.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I think Peter Krause would have made a great Rick, but Andrew Lincoln is fantastic as Rick. Both he and Jon Bernthal owned Season 2.

God I hate Carol. And Lori. And all their _____ing and moaning. Without Rick, they would be roaming around a field somewhere.

Now it's a Ricktatorship!

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I know I've been blowing Daryl a lot but I have to do it again for him sticking by Rick to Carol.

People give this show ____ for character development, or maybe even just developing characters into people you dislike.

But how Daryl and Herschel grew in the show have been fantastic. I thought nothing of Daryl at first; I figured he'd be white trash who constantly fought with T-Dog. But his character has grown, truly surprisingly to me, into one of the absolute best (if not the best) characters on the show. He's got an amazing independence, but also has strong loyalty when it comes time for it.

Herschel started off like a willfully ignorant, but nice enough, fool. His steady acceptance of what is now his reality has felt like a natural progression.

And I've liked Rick's growth as well. It's gone from being a good leader and survivor due to his job skills, to adapting his personality to what's needed to survive. I thought he could have handled the last speech a little more diplomatically, but at the same time - ____ it. Obviously, he's fed up with having his decisions questioned, whether they were right or wrong.

Totally agree with you there. I think you can add Andrea to the list of awesome character development. The way she handled being left behind during the farm raid really showed a lot of strength in her character. Carol was crying with a 2x4 in her hand & Lori would've gotten her dumb ass killed too. Andrea handled it with a pistol, a bag of guns, and a folding knife.

I only hope Michonne makes Andrea's character even stronger. I don't know much about Michonne but I'm hoping the two of them stay together.

The fact that Michonne is a total badass, should definitely help develope Andrea
especially as we know her in the comics.

When TWD returns for season 3 I hope to see some interesting interaction between Michonne & Andrea.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I know I'm not the only one but from now until Oct., AMC's not even on my radar. I can't help but wonder if AMC wouldn't benefit by showing re-runs starting with Season 1 in it's timeslot, including Taking Dead reruns in it's perspective timeslot, instead of other programming. I wouldn't mind tuning in for a 15th-16th time watching re-runs and might even stick around for the programming in between. They might even hook new viewers.

The only episode of Talking Dead I watched was the one after the finale. I never liked Hardwick but he seems tolerable on TD. I'm too quick to judge.

Was Talking Dead on during Season 1 or was that a new feature for Season 2? I'd love to catch up on those reruns also.
