I was all excited last night only to discover dish dropped amc!

If you had AMC ... you wouldn't have been surprised. Unavoidable knowledge. Its in every ******* commercial, promo, blurb, going into break, coming out of break, bottom of the screen during the show. "Coming up next, Comic Book Men -- not available on Dish." "19-days of Horror Movies ... not available on Dish." "The Walking Dead ... not available to Dish subscribers." Invite your friends over if they have Dish. It is a complete advertizing blitz.

I think they changed the name of their channel from "AMC" to "AMC, not available on Dish". Holy hell -- give it a rest already.

I was super impressed by the opener. FINALLY MORE ZOMBIES AND GORE! Season 2 was much too slow for me. I can already tell this season isn't going that direction. Loved when they were moving as a unit clearing the prison. Thought that was really awesome. Don't break formation Tdog! I'm eager to see how Maryl (forgive the spelling) is going to **** everyone's plans up. TWD is creeping on becoming my favorite TV show.

Amazing, loved it! After that prison fight I think Maggie might be a close second to my favorite, Andrea.

And good God that ending scene! I can handle gore galore, but after the first few chops at the leg I was cringing.

No kidding! Me and my wife were like two kids in a candy store. I can honestly say the anticipation for the season premiere was similar to that of a TDK or Avengers.

Yup, after it was over we sat and watched the first twenty minutes of the replay as well. Just an outstanding episode. This show keeps topping itself. Couldn't help but rewind the part where the riot helmet gets taken off - that was awesome.

DVR'd Talking Dead and will check it out tonight probably after watching the Premiere again.

The detail to her character is proof of excellent writing imo. The writers are really consistent. The transition from season 2 to the opener last night was fantastic. I can't stand Lori either but her character is almost a need. It's brought Rick to the badass level he's at now

Kills were pretty much, stick/pole to the eye. Heh

I think there will probably be more character deve/build up as the season progresses. Probably why they opened the show with 80% action.

Last night was great! Had a Walking Dead BBQ with some friends and we watched TWD premier...and it was AWESOME!!
