Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

They probably blew their budget on this first episode alone, there will be plenty of episodes with no walkers and all character development probably.

But, Jesus Christ RIOT ZOMBIES!!

Damn near screamed when Rick tore that zombies face off. So disgusting. I dont think this was the zombie tho.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

How the hell would he have been bitten by a walker with all that gear on? I call shenanigans

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

The neck.

And you also don't need to be bitten, just die.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

So I guess your reading comprehension skills completely failed you after reading the Kirkman interview a few pages back? :lol

Re-read it, dingus: https://collider.com/walking-dead-season-3-robert-kirkman-interview/184180/

there is a reason Why Frank Darabont Was Fired
they might have more money but they have more episodes more sets, way more everything than last season, just because they have more money doesn't mean we will have zombies every episode,
last season they cut the budget and wanted more episodes, this season they have more money but more locations and more episodes.

specially when they intent to focus the show on Rick and the Governor.... :slap you gullible grandpa you,

Frank was let go because he wanted to tell the stories of random zombies. This is why we see "meh" actors playing zombies like the ****** from TFU and Smallville's "Doomsday" as the tank operator in episode 2. Can you imagine how lame this series would be if the stories just followed random zombies every other episode instead of following the plight of the survivors? :lol AMC wanted to tell the story of the survivors... like the comics do. That was the difference of opinion he had with AMC and why he left. If Kirkman, Ex. Pro for the series is saying it's bigger and better, I'll take his word over yours and your oldassed news link. :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Brilliant season premier!

Loved the tension and action.

Lori is still annoying and I have zero sympathy for her at all, thank God Rick has finally put her in her place and gone into full badass mode.

Carl is getting better, but the michonne stuff was boring. :monkey1

Damn, I missed this.

Has anyone mentioned or wondered how these guys died in the first place? I'm assuming they weren't bitten. So then they must have been killed by inmates as riots and what not broke out during the outbreak. I guess a well position shank to the side between armor plates? Maybe a few were bit in the hand?

that might be true, he wanted to tell stories of random zombies,
but they did cut the budget and they did wanted more episodes,
with the amount of stuff they have to shoot outside this season I Really don't think we are getting walkers like we did in this first episode, I think once the Gorvernor and rick story starts the walkers will take a back seat,
which is fine, but I think they put their all into this one opener

Shock? Dehydration? Starvation? Remember, all they have to do is die to become zombies. They don't have to be bit. :nono

Dude, you're pulling a Nova.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I'm glad they're sticking with the comics. Season 1 took a little off course ride and it was the worst part of the series.

This comic is insane and it is compelling reading the studio can't lose if they just follow the road of gold laid out by the comic.

I just finally caught up on the comics and holy ****, just when you don't think they can top their own stories any more... :thud:

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I thought the season premiere was fantastic. This show is easily my favorite on tv right now. There is no other show I look forward to more than TWD on Sunday nights.

Enough with all this mindless zombie killing though. I want to get back to more character development. :)

Otherwise, we don't have as much to discuss during the week. :monkey1

seriously? we just came from a whole season that was nothing but character development and getting to the point that it was almost a soap opera. I really don't understand people. I guess you guys would have loved the idea of this show without any zombies like the other tv Network wanted to do it ah?
