you must be joking, Nam loves a good confrontation, if he agreed with you he would have already tried to start an conversation about it,

you will get your character development soon enough, you should just enjoy the amazing effort they did with the walkers. we won't get another episode like this, I don't think so. the story doesn't really call for it. probably at the end maybe

There's nothing wrong with "A" confrontation. There is something wrong with "ONLY" confrontation. This show is about the quite moments with a side of panic not an Uwe Boll production.

FYI I didn't say it was a bad show now, I just said that there was too much action and that I hope it goes back to where the focus should be. Something your boyfriend agreed with me back in July when I was already expressing concerns over what has proven true thus far.

There was plenty of "character building" in this first episode. As a matter of fact, just getting up to speed on what's been going down over the winter showed quite a bit. I already pointed several out. Add to that, I have a good idea of what's to come having read the books as well, so no, I don't agree with you. There's plenty of "cake" coming so just enjoy the icing.

I think the episode was just about perfect, except for the FX flub on the faceless zombie where it squashed a bit instead of being a hard skull.

I'm thinking we'll get at least a few more episodes like this one. I would think a bigger budget they are going to get their money's worth.

Carl-grown up in the walker world-even is starting to look at women
Rick-pissed off at Lori for plenty of reasons
Lori-Having crazy thoughts about a walker baby
Andrea-sick at the moment but has built a new friendship with Michonne
Daryl-still a BA and didn't fall for Carol's seduction
Carol-lonely and wants Daryl
T-dog-nothing
Hershel-leg gone
Maggie-kills walkers very well now
Glenn-still doesn't mind being the bait
