I was really HATING the episode up til the end! The whole Guillermo thing just annoyed the hell out of me. And they really couldn't find another car to hotwire?!?
But that ending was awesome! I really wonder how they're going to end the season at this rate.

Yep, no joke.
Last nights episode totally delivered .......... again. What an awesome but sad show. Merle has become some mystery ......... i'm sure his whereabouts will last until the end of episode 6. It just sucks that AMC obviously tried this out and relied on the success (or failure) of 6 episodes to opt a 2nd season. I could watch this show everyday for 5 years straight its that good.

So are they going to recast the kids? They'll look totally different by the time production starts up again. I guess they could jump forward.

Too true. I have nothing against it debuting on Halloween every year but give us 20+ episodes first
Good point considering the main kid is Rick's son. Good actor too.

They could easily start shooting Season 2 right away and just not air it until next Oct. But it will be interesting how they handle that since Carl is pretty pivotal.

i didn't hate the episode, but i agree the story was kinda weak til about 3/4 way thru. personally i thought the guy who played guillermo was a terrible actor. he kept gesticulating and bobbing his head way more than is necessary even for a "ghetto gangsta".
but what caught me (pleasantly) by surprise was how the standoff between rick's and guillermo's group was resolved. the little old lady just popped outta nowhere and diffused the animosity. she was so cute! it pretty much single-handedly redeemed the whole episode, imo. yet another example of the nice little moments of humanity that shine thru in such a bleak world. that's what makes this series way above the average zombie show.
and the attack on the camp at the end was pretty cool too. frankly, i didn't care about any of the characters that got offed, but i liked the chaos and the tension in the scene. really well-played.
overall, not as good as the previous episodes, but still a good watch...

The best shows are always the ones with mere 13 episode runs. However the paltry 6 episodes for season 1 is infuriating me before I've even seen the last two.

He just said that to be safe. He doesn't know if infection can be transferred through the skin. It would make sense that open wounds would be receptive, but whether it can be transferred through pores is anyone's guess.

Probably not otherwise they wouldn't consider beating the zombies to second death with bats to be an option unless as a desperate measure. All kills would be 'shoot from a distance'.
I'd say the risk, much like any virus, is open wounds, accidental ingestion via some orifice etc!

I really enjoyed this weeks episode, solid from beging to end for me.
Sux that theres only 2 left
I think its kinda funny that the beaner who got shot in the ass with the arrow is cast in everything when a gangster mexican is needed
