So are they going to recast the kids? They'll look totally different by the time production starts up again. I guess they could jump forward.

They might use different kids,cause that actor could experience a growth spurt. So, Rick's son may go from brown hair one season to blonde the next.

Daryl is a hunter - like Ski said, he just seems pragmatic about it. Again, Merle clearly enjoyed it, going out of his way to kill them. We haven't seen Daryl doing that, and in fact, he goes out hunting to feed the group rather than doing that little recon into town. If he really got off on killing them, he'd put himself in a position to do it whenever possible.

Wait wait, aren't we forgetting the way he kicks that camp-encroaching zombie after they've already killed it and then shoots its decapitated head with an arrow? Theres no pragmatism about that.

If I'm not mistaken, the head was still blinking and it's mouth was moving. He says something like "you have to kill the brain" when he shoots it. I'm not saying he doesn't enjoy it or whatever (don't really have an opinion) but I think that's how it happened.

I think its kinda funny that the beaner who got shot in the ass with the arrow is cast in everything when a gangster mexican is needed

Speaking of which, doesn't he keep pulling those arrows out of zombies? So whoever gets shot with one, will become infected and eventually turn? So they basically just doomed them all.

What was on the last cover? I got some entertainment magazine in the mail the other day with Depp and Jolie on the front. I can't remember the title, and I don't know why I got it, but if it was Entertainment Weekly, and I have a free subscription for some reason, I need to check the mailbox.

He was a custodian playing a gangsta, so he probably did overact it a bit.

good point. but the thing is, he continued acting like that even after revealing himself to be a custodian.

i wonder if we'll ever again see the black father and son that rick was supposed to rendezvous with in atlanta. i liked those characters...

Another great episode!

The zombie attack was fantastic. Loved the gore effects. Totally on par with a Romero movie.


And the acting in this show is fantastic. Somebody was knocking the blond girls acting when her sister died, but I thought it was excellent.

Hellz yeah! Definitely the best new show!

Him mentioning that he loves the Governor and wants to do the prison story line was pretty profound to me. Also I loved his shot at LOST.

Actually the article is pretty good.

I see that it's four whole pages (which is a lot for a magazine like this) so I'm encouraged. When I said profound, I meant on par with a Rolling Stone article or something. I've seen those run 20 pages.
