Is there any word when this will be out on disc? I was kinda hoping by Christmas cause I'd get it for my brother because he lives out in the boonies and only has an antenna and is on dial-up.

I signed up for the first to know email on amazon a couple weeks ago. Should be late jan. Early feb.

And what was so great about the first episode is that it was an hour and a half long, like a mini movie and there were no commercials for the first 20 minutes...

Finally got myself caught up on this show. It is filling the void left by LOST. Great acting. Great writing. and zombie gore.

i finished Lost not too long ago also and wanted something new after it. i was not disappointed.

I wish they made 7 more episodes this season for a total of 13. 6 is just not enough Walking Dead for me.

I thought I had heard they made 12-13 episodes originally. Is the season really over after the 6th one? Or is this one of those shows that has two seasons a year? Like a fall and spring season? I just can't see them being completely done already.

First season is only 6 episodes. Second (and future seasons) are going to be 13 episodes for a full season.
