Even knowing exactly what happened beforehand, this was still a gut wrenching episode. Just the scene of Carol walking up to the yard and seeing what happened, ugh.

Great episode, but not one I think I could ever watch again.

I didnt expect this at all. I hate seeing things like this. Just when I started to get bored altogether with this season it pulls me right back in with the feels. I wish there would of been some other option but sadly there wasn't.

TOTAL Messed up episode i dont think i could have did what went down. I would have just lost the Person on the next trek. Even that would be difficult knowing what crazyness went down... A very dark episode it was.......

I know, this episode hit home. I have a 9 year old daughter who is my World. I think she took the easy way out, rather then go on their own and try to help the girl she ended her. Similar to her letting her daughter run off and not going after her, always seems to do the what's easiest and not at all what's human.
It was a great episode but incredibly sad and intense.

There was no helping her. She had murdered her own sister and pointed a gun at them. They've explained it to her plenty, she didn't get it. She absolutely had to die. The easy way out would have been to jet in the middle of the night and leave her behind.

She was completely psychotic. She thought they were her pals? Why'd she run away screaming from the crispy ones? Nothing she did or said made any sense.

Possibly, but if it was my daughter or someone I had been caring for I don't think I could do what she did. It's a zombie apocalypse, everyone is a little messed up and granted the girl was messed up more then most. I still think she could have been spared, saved, dealt with in some other way.

She wasn't Carol's daughter. She just killed her own sister and pointed a gun at Carol.

I think that little girl would have killed you and fed you rats. :lol

Same thing happens in the comics, just slightly different. Episode turned out great!

No offense, but anyone who brings up the comic in the thread... well, I'd like to introduce you to Carol.

Feck the comic. This is show talk.

You do realize she had a serious mental issue that's not curable by talking or explaining anything right? Without medication/therapy, it was only a matter of time. We just didn't know how bad her condition truly was until this episode. Carol was right to do what she did, extremely hard yes, could I do it in those circumstances, don't know, but it was clear after she killed her sister that she couldn't live with people anymore and without medication or intense therapy, she had to go. My jaw literally dropped and stayed there after I saw what she did.

:exactly: It's like implying a murderer can be cured in a world where murder is now legal.

Cruel would have been Carol forcing her to live with the understanding she just murdered her own baby sister.(she died not even realising what she'd done)

Carol is a milf when she's not covered in apocalypse. Or a WILF I guess. Widow I'd Like to.... learn knife safety from.

It's not like I went into detail or complained in a tirade, I actually praised the episode and made it known they stuck to the source material in a subtle way. Get over yourself.

I can't believe it never dawned on me during the episode that the fire was the house Daryl and Beth burned down. :slap

Tonight's episode just goes to show what pointless fluff and filler the last few episodes have been. This was one of this finest hours of television I've ever seen. This is The Walking Dead at it's absolute best, and not just grinding out the clock to fill an hour.

Without those "fillers", episodes like this wouldn't have the impact they do. This seems to be lost on people who want every week to be like this.

Pretty heavy stuff, and I'm glad they killed that little psycho *****. She earned it.

Wow, I didn't realize either. I had the feeling one of the girls was gonna tonight, but couldn't imagine it would go down that way. Those girls are damn good actresses.

That's not at all true. You can have character development in an episode that isn't filler. Breaking Bad had very few filler episodes by comparison to TWD. The boring filler episodes just make you appreciate a truely well done episode that much more. I mean look at Agents of Shield. Those fans are so desperate if you give them something remotely average for a single episode they herald it as the second coming.
